"Let's go to the hospital, the bleeding won't stop", Emily said worriedly, her brows knitted into a frown.

"No",he replied immediately.

"Why not, you're not some sort of wanted criminals are you?", Emily questioned as her eyes bored into his unable to come up with another reason why he'll refuse going to the hospital.

Levii chuckled as he studied her expression. "Of course not, well I have to say, you overestimate me or you worry too much, I'm not some sort of criminal like you imagine I'm just not used to people taking care of me ".

"Really",she lifted her eyebrows quizzically. "Then how do you explain the injuries?".

"It's something you won't want to know",he look heavenward chuckling.

"Alright, I won't press further but you should really visit the hospital, how about a private hospital nearby your information will be kept confidential",Emily suggested.

"Alright, since your highness insist who am I to refuse",Levii grinned and she helped him put on his shirt.

"By the way",she started. "The previous incident and altercation between us should be forgotten, it will do us both no good.

"No good",he scoffed. "How can I forget such a passionate night. ."

"Just shut up already", Emily interrupted him midsentence glaring at him as she answered her beeping cellphone.

It was from Mia who told her to cancel the appointment as she had to visit the family manor with Lucian.

"Get in",she ordered the playful Levii as soon as she ended the call and started the car.

It was already late in the afternoon by the time they left the hospital, his injuries had been cleaned and properly attended to.

"So let's part here, from now henceforth we're total strangers",Emily said as they got to the garage.

"Seriously",his eyes flickered with a gleam of mischievousness. "But how can I . ."

"Levii",he was interrupted before he could finish his sentence and both Levii and Emily turned around to see who called him.

"Levii, it's really you!", A blonde haired lady threw herself into Levii's embrace. "I saw you from afar but didn't dare to run to you afraid I got the wrong person".

"Lolly", Levii smiled disregarding his earlier mischievous self as he pinched the lady's cheeks. "It's been a while".

Emily peered curiously at the lady , she was decked in a doctor lab coat a car key dangling around her midfinger , her name tag imprinted "Louise Simmon" then she nod at her in acknowledgement.

"Hello, I'm Louise, Levii's fiancé and I guess you're his friend",Louise turned to Emily extending her hand for a handshake.

Emily was stunned into silence, she could have never imagined him to be an engaged man he never acted like one, facing Louise's gentle smile she was caught in a miasma of anxiety about her affair with Levii who didn't even bother saying anything just standing there blandly then she nod affirmatively and also extend her palm to shake hands with Louise.

"Alright, Miss Louise, Levii I won't hold you on any further, I'll take my leave",Emily quickly expressed and left worried he might start spouting nonsense.

"Bye Emily".

"Bye Miss Emily". They both chorused.

Emily entered her car and could finally sigh in relief, she had never imagined that she would be the third wheel in someone's relationship especially with a scoundrel like him, engaged yet playing and flirting around.

Lucian's black limousine manouvered into the Henderson Family Residence with swift and great dexterity.

The huge mansion was just like it's owners, extravagant yet low profile, all through her years of being in a relationship with Leonard, she had never visited the Henderson Family Residence as it was officially and strictly open for family members.

Today, they were gathering at the family manor for Lucian's late parents anniversary, his mother died a year earlier than his father but it was still on the same date so all members of the family both close and distant had to gather together for their anniversary and Lucian had also intended to introduce her officially to his grandfather and sge couldn't help but feel nervous after all she was once Leonard's fiancé.

"Don't be nervous, I'm here",Lucian comforted her by gently caressing her palm.

"Only the main family members will be present today, others will only come over tomorrow for the anniversary".

"Okay",Mia mumbled softly.

"Young Master Henderson is back",the butler announced after seeing the couple getting down from the car and he hurried over to greet them.

"Young Master Henderson",the butler greeted him and paused lost on how to address Mia who was beside him.

"Young Mistress",Lucian answered.

"Young Master Henderson, Young Madam Henderson welcome back home",the butler bowed. "Shall I prepare some food for you?".

"No", Lucian replied with a wave of his hands. "This is butler Kai, the eldest butler, call him if you need anything",Lucian faced Mia.

"Butler Kai", Mia noded in acknowledgement and followed Lucian in hands in hands.

The european styled living room was quite empty except from the two shiloulite sitting afar on the distant couch.

Those two shiloulite, she could tell who it was even if it was in the dark .
