Arrival at the academy

It took twenty hours for Jake to reach Alkore Town, even though the travel was by train. Only travel through air can speed up the process but due to beasts in the sky, there are very few air routes that were available for travel.

The town was built after the academy appeared here. The town is just a transit town and nothing more but because of the academy on the premises, it's safer than many areas.

It could have been a city but that would have hindered the academy's purpose of establishing here.

The academy is at the base of the Northern High mountains. It was established here because of the presence of abundant beasts around the area. It's the best place for its students to train and level up faster.

If a city was built around the academy, that would mean constantly clearing all the beasts near the city. The students would never be able to improve themselves if all the beasts were cleared from the surroundings.
