In Motion

After much interest and eagerness to explore the unknown, the calm Gilgamesh began his final journey.

"Except for Eris and Roxy, you will stay in the city." Upon entering the cemetery, Gilgamesh told the twins and Cusnfiel.

This time, Gilgamesh didn't want to take anyone who didn't have enough strength to face a powerful enemy. Both Cusnfiel and the twins lacked combat experience, so it wasn't a good idea to take them this time. Only Eris and Roxy could accompany him.

In reality, both Cusnfiel and the twins wanted to go as well, but they could only let go of this thought after hearing Gilgamesh's command.

"This time is a bit special. We're not digging for treasures; we're simply helping this continent get rid of the plague that is in this place." Gilgamesh smiled arrogantly and said, "This won't be a game like before. If something unexpected happens, I won't be able to protect you even if I want to."

Of course, no one questioned Gilgamesh's decisions since they didn't want to bother him in the first place.

Gilgamesh eventually departed with Eris and Roxy on the Vimana towards the ancient illuminated path, which led directly to the underworld ship.

Eris looked at Gilgamesh and felt that he had some things on his mind. Since the appearance of the Underworld River, Gilgamesh had been too pensive, focusing solely on caring for the seed of immortality for a few days, which puzzled Eris and Roxy.

No one understood Gilgamesh more than they did. They could sense the change in his mood when no one else could, so today, they felt that Gilgamesh had some reservation in his actions.

"What will happen?" After boarding the Vimana, Roxy gently asked.

Gilgamesh looked at the Underworld River on the horizon flowing deep into the earth. He said nothing for a long time. After this pause, Gilgamesh then looked at the two and declared, "I intend to descend to the underworld."

That night, when the Underworld River appeared, Eris and Roxy's questions stirred his thoughts. After three days of isolation, although he said he was taking care of the seed of immortality, the truth was that he was reflecting on a certain case that might happen.

"Why bother if everything will be destroyed in the end?" Listening to Gilgamesh's statement, Eris and Roxy's expressions changed strongly.

Everyone knew that only the dead would rise, or the living on the brink of death would dare to take such risks. A living being venturing into that place would be complicated; wouldn't it be asking to be attacked?

"Gilgamesh, we can enter directly on the Vimana without trying to board those ships with Cursed aura." Roxy earnestly persuaded Gilgamesh with a concerned expression.

"I'll do it because I want to know if my crazy theory, after so many things we've heard in this place, is true," Gilgamesh shook his head and explained.

Eris put on a solemn expression as she looked at Gilgamesh, then exclaimed, "If we're going on that ship, we might as well eliminate all the undead before they can even blink."

Roxy quickly followed Eris with her plea, "Gilgamesh, why go on the ship? We still have many other ways to enter from another place. Is this the only way, or are you looking for something different that we haven't realized?"

For everyone, boarding an Underworld Ship was the same as wanting to die. Only the dead or the dying would be willing to do it. If one could still live for several more decades, they wouldn't want to board because the chance of success was tiny!

"There's nothing to worry about; as long as you stay on the Vimana, nothing strange will happen." Gilgamesh smiled confidently in response to the well-intentioned advice from his two women.

Seeing his determination, Roxy no longer advised against it. She looked at him for a moment before finally asking in a soft tone, "What is the theory you haven't told us?"

Gilgamesh couldn't help but look at the deepest part of the cemetery, then gently touched his neck before finally answering, "I have a brief suspicion that if different timelines align in this place, I should close everything before it becomes a problem."

At this point, he was absorbed in his thoughts. He had been to the deepest part of the cemetery more than once in his future, but there were still some places in that location that had no easy entrances!

Coincidentally, he recently discovered something, and now with the presence of the Dragon God, he should be a little more cautious because if it's as strong as many mention, it should be more troublesome to deal with.

"We'll be nearby, don't destroy the whole place without letting us know!" In the end, Eris and Roxy stood by Gilgamesh, activating the Vimana's barrier while keeping an eye on the surroundings.

In comparison to the heaviness in Eris and Roxy's minds, Gilgamesh, on the contrary, was very relaxed. With a smile, he said, "I still have two beautiful wives. With such charming ladies, how can I be willing to die so soon? Wouldn't it be a crime for me if I don't enjoy such good blessings first?!"

"Together?" Unlike Roxy, Eris seemed very convinced of this proposal.

As for Roxy, she was still a bit nervous about such grand statements. Mentioning these matters aloud was something she still emotionally struggled with, even if her character was improving in leaps and bounds.

While Eris and Roxy remained under the protection of the Vimana, Gilgamesh began to soar through the skies as he approached the ship that was flying not far from his position.
