Ruthless Billionaire.

Ruthlyn alighted from her car and put on her facemask. Being Ethan DeLoach's face and mouth had it's dangers too and she did not want to encounter any today.

She walked into the bar and noticed it was not the kind of bar Enoch would go to, unless he was coerced by those stupid friends he kept.

Looking down at her phone, she traced Enoch's location and continued walking until she came to the front of a door with the tag, 'VIP' placed on it.

She knocked on the door and it opened within a minute, by a pretty lady who blocked the door with her body. At least to Ruthlyn, she looked pretty.

"What do you want?" The lady asked.

Ruthlyn tried to look behind her, to the room's interior but the lady blocked her, a frown forming on her face.

"I am here to pick up my fiance." With that, she pushed the lady aside and stepped inside the place which turned out not to be a room but a dark hallway which had two rooms at the end. She walked towards the rooms, her footsteps light as she approached them.

She adjusted her facemask when she caught a whiff of the smell of cigars. What the hell was happening here?

Getting to the end of the hallway, she pushed open the door on the right and finding it empty, she moved to the left, stopping momentarily with her hands on the doorknob. She could hear a low music playing in the room and a low voice which belonged to a female.

Sighing, she concluded that it was only one lady in the room with Enoch and he had tricked her into coming here.

Thinking of that, she pushed open the door and her eyes widened at the scene in the room.

There were six women in the room, five dancing around Enoch while one was sitting and watching them.

"What are you doing?" She asked, attracting their attentions.

Contrary to what Enoch said, he was not being r*ped but this situation was not much different.

He was sitting in the middle of the room, his eyes movement unstable as he nod his head to the music playing underground, while the five ladies in skimpy dresses danced around him.

That was not all. One of the ladies who seemed familiar, the one who was sitting, was making a video of the scene. And she was the one who stood up to challenge Ruthlyn when she noticed her in the room.

"What are you doing here?" The lady asked.

Ruthlyn sighed loudly, she didn't have time for this.

"I asked first so I expect to get the answer first."

"And who do you think you are to interrupt us? That's Enoch DeLoach and he must not know you're interrupting his fun. Get out of this room now!" The lady seemed to think Ruthlyn was just a worker in the bar because she went to sit down immediately she was done talking, waiting for Ruthlyn to leave the room.

"Why are you still here?" She asked.

Ruthlyn removed the facemask from her face and the lady squinted her eyes, trying to remember where she had seen her face.

Slowly, it dawned on her and she raised her hand immediately, stopping the dancers.

"Wait...Don't tell me..." The lady stuttered, rising to her feet.

"This is a mere joke, Miss! We weren't aware of his identity!" She continued, running to Ruthlyn's side.

The other five ladies, noticing that the new lady seemed to be someone powerful, rushed out of the room. Ruthlyn deduced they were simply workers in this bar.

Ruthlyn brought out her phone and looked up to the now frightened lady, the main culprit of this whole incident. She was still not sure where she had seen her so she decided to ask.

"You were not aware of his identity but you threatened me with him earlier. Your name?"

The lady backed away as she fell to her knees, shock evident in her eyes. She couldn't reveal her name, ever. She had only been doing this for fun and it didn't even occur to her that it might be the real Enoch DeLoach. How was she going to get herself out of this mess?

"What's your name?" Ruthlyn repeated. The lady's refusal to say her name only confirmed her intuition that this person was not ordinary.

"Please. I will do anything you want but don't--- please...Miss Stone---"

"You don't expect me to let you go, do you?" Ruthlyn asked, her voice laced sarcasm. Her lips pulled up in a smirk and she continued,

"Ethan DeLoach is mostly known as The Faceless billionaire but some also know him as The Ruthless billionaire, Why? You will know soon."

"It's Alicia Brown..." The lady was close to tears now as she scrambled closer to Ruthlyn legs and pleaded by her feet.

Ruthlyn was surprised at her answer. She knew this actress as one of the actresses whom the country saw as pure and innocent. But doing drugs in a private room and trapping a citizen in a bar for hours, was something she would never associate with her.

"Your phone." She demanded.

Alicia Brown handed over her phone with shaky hands. She knew without being told that her career was already destroyed.

Ruthlyn walked to Enoch, lifting him up. The way he slumped on her body showed that he had been drugged and her chest burned in fury at that realization.

She walked slowly to the door, stopping briefly to turn to Alicia.

"You know what? When I informed Ethan DeLoach I was coming, he told me to do what I must. I could have forgiven you as a woman, but you did this to my fiance." A cold smile crept on her face.

"Ruthlyn Stone has a heart of stone."

She walked out of the room, assisting Enoch to walk with her. Getting to the door which she has pushed the pretty lady earlier, she wondered where that one ran to.

She continued to the car outside and settled Enoch in it before walking around to the driver's seat. Settling in her seat, she thought of the best punishment to mete out to the actress and when an idea popped in her mind.

She hurriedly brought out her phone and texted her Boss's wife. She had just used one stone to kill two birds.

She had gained the favour of her Boss's wife and punished that actress at the same time.

Back at the Hospital.

Ethan wore a frown as they got into the car, Shikera in the driver's seat while he sat beside her.

"Why are you grumpy? Not that you aren't always grumpy though..." She trailed off when she felt a cold gaze on her skin.

"What's the nature of your sickness?" He suddenly asked.

Shikera stiffened at his question. She turned to him, a fake smile on her lips, and watched as he removed the facemask from his face.

"What do you mean?"

"Your doctor told me about your uncertain life span and I thought it was not normal for a doctor to think of a patient's case as hopeless."

"Aaah...I'm of the SS genotype. I'm suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia." She announced.
