The room fell completely silent, the siblings staring at him in shock with their eyes widened and their mouths agape. Shikera was frozen, her fingers hovering over her phone's screen as she processed what she just heard.

"Am I now partially deaf too?" She wondered. As soon as she thought of that, her hands continued their work.

The momentary silence was broken by the sound of their phones pinging.

"Get Krystal here! I think my ears have gone deaf too," was the message Shikera had typed.

"Or partially deaf cause I think I'm not picking complete sentences..."

Raymond almost burst into laughter at Shikera's message but seeing Ethan's expression, he couldn't bring himself to. He simply replied her message with,

"You heard well, Miss Anderson. Ethan did say what you heard..."

Shikera read the reply before staring at the faces of the others in the room. They sure looked kind of shocked.

But instead of replying to that, she typed,
