After Shikera was done eating, Ethan informed Raine about her current condition and the woman came, bringing Esther along with her. Currently, they were sitting at the back of Ethan's Villa,overlooking a tranquil lake. The water, a deep blue color, was reflecting the clear sky above. A flock of birds flew overhead, and the sound of their wings was like music to Shikera's ears, showing her she hadn't lost her hearing yet

A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the trees, and the sun shone down on the villa's terrace. In short, the atmosphere was perfect and it seemed like it reflected in Esther's mood because she had been exceptionally nice to Shikera, since they arrived.

"How are you feeling?" The girl asked.

Shikera smiled at her before typing that she was okay. Right from the moment she knew Esther was not Ethan's biological daughter and that her mother was probably dead, she had felt some kind of pity for the child.
