11. Interaction

With Anna agreeing to Dylan's proposal, she followed him to his apartment.

The layout of the two apartment was actually very similar. The difference was in their decoration and color.

When Anna asked the apartment from her mother, she wanted to decorate it to her preference. The wall was pink while the decoration was between peach, white, or wood color. These three colors were also the main color for her furniture.

It looked very girlish yet lively.

On the other hand, Dylan's apartment followed the blue shade of color. The wall was in light blue and the furniture was either black, grey, or different shade of blue.

It looked cool and quiet.

The two colors were the contrast of each other but if they were talking about personality, it was actually the polar opposite.

Anna was quieter while Dylan was livelier.

"Wait for a while."

"Yes. What did you make?" Anna asked. She forgot to ask what Dylan was made.

"Pasta." Dylan carried out two plates of spaghetti from the kitchen. He had also made the sauce, it was the smell that Anna smelled from the door not long ago.

Anna almost drooled when she saw the two plates of pasta in front of her.

It has been a while since she ate them.

Due to her limited cooking ability, Anna definitely couldn't cook spaghetti. Well, the spaghetti itself only need to be boiled but the sauce would need to be cooked and Anna was not entirely sure about the composition.

QAQ

Her lack of ability was coming back to trouble her now.

"Let's eat." Dylan chuckled.

"Thank you~." Anna took the fork and started to eat. As the spaghetti entered her mouth, her eyes lit up.

It's delicious.

Dylan watched Anna eat quickly and wanted to laugh but hold it back. He knew that Anna liked to eat but didn't like to cook. In the past, she didn't really need to cook, but now, she would need to cook.

But if she didn't want to cook…

"I'm done. Thank you for the food," Anna said when she had finished eating.

This is the most satisfying meal in the past few days.

Dylan had also finished eating. His eating speed was also very fast. He handed a glass of water to Anna while he himself also drank some water before speaking, "If you want to, you can come here to join me when eating."

"That would be bothering you." Anna frowned.

"But…" Dylan showed a sad look.

Anna paused when she saw Dylan's expression because she was somewhat reminded to the time when they were young.

Dylan is a few weeks younger than her. When they were young, she made him call her 'sister' because he was really small and cute back then. She really liked him and even though of him as a girl.

Of course, later on she found out that this 'girl' is actually a boy. But it didn't change the fact that she wanted him to call her as sister.

Now, Dylan no longer looked that childish as he's also 18 years old.

However, when he acted like this, she couldn't help but remember that cute kid from back then.

"You're not a kid anymore!" Anna couldn't help it and poked Dylan's forehead. "Why do you want me to accompany you?"

The table where they eat was really small, so she could easily reach his side.

Anna didn't realize it, but Dylan's eyes showed a faint smile. He looked at Anna and replied, "I just feel that it'll be lonely. During this heavy rainstorm, no one could come here. My friends are all very far away."

Anna was silent.

Because she knew that Dylan was right.

She herself has been thinking that she would be staying alone during this heavy rainstorm and feel a bit depressed. While she could chat with others through her phone, meeting online and meeting directly were very different.

"How about if you teach me how to cook?" Anna finally asked.

She couldn't possibly make Dylan cook for her all the time, but if he taught her how to cook, then it would be a different story.

Dylan's eyes lit up. "Of course, I'll teach my sister if you want to learn~."

"I'm not your sister." Anna laughed.

"Why not?"

"I'm an only child." Anna looked at Dylan with a smile on her face.

Even though she didn't mind Dylan calling her as sister, but she refused being other people's sister. Her so called step sister and step brother were very annoying and Anna didn't want to add more of those troublesome family members.

Dylan had a look of realization and his head turned down. "I'm sorry, Sister."

"You're not wrong…. Also, stopped acting so childishly. You're only a few weeks younger than me." Anna really couldn't help it when Dylan was acting like a child. She would always feel that she's his older sister like how they used to be.

But it was not right.

They had grown up by now!

"But you're still older than me," Dylan added stubbornly, his eyes were looking at Anna with puppy like eyes.

Anna received another critical hit.

She lowered her eyes and finally said, "Alright, you can be like this if you want to…"

"Thank you, Sister." Dylan smiled brightly.

Anna's eyes trembled a bit.

This Dylan is really cute... she really wanted to pinch his cheek like she used to be but she didn't dare to.
