Chapter Twenty

Lawson pressed Declan's back into the table as he rammed his hips into him from behind and the table shook with their movements, sending heavy paper weights over the edge. He thrust into him with force and Declan wrapped a hand on his own cock to pump it up and down. Pulling out, Lawson pushed Declan's shirt further up his back before he threw his tie over his shoulder and caught his own shirt in his teeth. Fetching a bottle of lube from a drawer, he squeezed some into his hands and slid three fingers into his ass, pushing them in and out.

Grabbing hold of Declan's right leg, he hoisted it up until it was on top of the table and Lawson spread his ass cheeks apart. Running his cock up and down his asshole, Declan moaned and tried to back himself into his cock but Lawson kept him firmly attached to the table. He pressed his cock into his asshole slightly before pulling out again to circle it around his opening.

"Lawson, enough!"

Lawson let out a huff and pushed in slightly again. His hand pushed Declan back onto the table and he slid in bit by bit into him until he was fully sheathed. He pulled out of him and sheathed himself again slowly and repeated this a few times until the fringes of a climax touched their bodies and he slammed in and out of him so hard that things began to topple over from the table again. Thrusting and thrusting, both of them rode the high and everything exploded.

The door flew open.

"What the fuck?!" someone said and both their heads snapped up.

Ria!

❃❃❃

"You guys are fucking behind my back?!" Ria screamed. "You fucking faggots!"

Lawson removed himself from Declan and they dressed themselves as quickly as possible. "Ria," Lawson explained. "It happened before we could stop it and we didn't want to tell you because you were dealing with some crazy shit already."

"Don't fucking give me excuses!"

"Ria, calm down," Declan said.

"How could the two of you do this? Lied to me!"

"We wanted to tell you," Lawson said. "But the time was never right. We're sorry, I swear."

"I thought you two loved me! This is betrayal."

"Need I remind you that you were the one who cheated on both of us first? You slept with either one of us without telling the other that you were fucking both of us."

"I wanted you both!"

"Relationships don't work like that," Lawson told her. "You're supposed to find one person and stick to that person for the rest of your life."

"I- I couldn't choose. I really couldn't."

"Well, Declan and I could."

"No, no, no," Ria droned on. "This can't be! You traitors!"

"Ria - " Declan started.

"Shut up! I was supposed to marry Lawson!"

"I'm sorry, what?" Lawson said.

"The baby inside me is yours, Lawson!"

"Lying won't get you anywhere," Lawson laughed.

"We know, Ria."

"Know what?" Ria asked.

"Lawson had you followed and tracked everything you did. We both know that the baby growing inside of you belongs to neither of us," Declan said.

Ria gawked. "No! It is Lawson's!"

"You're going to say it's mine after a few months, aren't you?" Declan said, shaking his head.

"You - !" Ria said, huffing in anger. "The both of you will regret this!"

And she stormed out of the office.

❃❃❃

Ria sat before the men in the office, nose in the air and heart brimming over with rage. Nobody fucking messed with her. She was a killer, after all! She got what she wanted, no matter what she would have to sacrifice to get there. Her mother abused her for years and she took revenge, and right now, she would take revenge a second time.

She pushed the envelope to the men on the other side of the table. "You will find the evidence inside."

One of them took the package from her and removed the photographs from it. He flipped through photo after photo. "This is good material, girl."

"Report on it," Ria said.

"How much do you want for these images?"

"I don't want anything," Ria said. "I just want their world to burn."

❃❃❃

The scandal exploded everywhere the moment it hit the 8pm and the papers. Scores of people made fun of either one of them, with the heat on Declan being particularly bad because he was well known for his homophobia. The internet dragged their names through the mud and shamed both of them. After all, Lawson was seen as an enemy of the public and Declan was a bona fide criminal.

As Declan walked down the pavement with Lawson, hand clasping onto his, a mass of reporters shoved their cameras in their faces. They shouted over one another.

"Do you think you deserve happiness when you've stolen that from others?"

"How will your relationship last when he is the law and you are crime?"

"How long have you guys been fucking?"

Declan stopped in his tracks and the reporters circled them, closing them in. Inhaling sharply, Declan removed the box from his pocket and faced Lawson. He got down on one knee and opened the box for Lawson, whose jaw dropped low.

"Lawson," Declan said. "I'm not very good with expressing myself. But fuck, every day since I've known you, I've become a better person and I know both our pasts are tainted with blood, but when I'm with you, I want to be a better man and I know you've become a better man because of me too. I can't imagine the rest of my life without you, so if you'll do me the honour. Please marry me."

"Fuck," Lawson said, his eyes tearing up. "Fuck yes!"

❃❃❃

Lawson stepped out into the villa and reclined into the summer chair beside Declan, a book in his hand. He picked up his wine glass and sipped from it before setting it back down. Declan was staring at him with awe in his eyes and Lawson smiled lovingly at him before picking his novel up again.

"Christ, not this fucking book again," Declan said and Lawson laughed.

"It's a great novel," he said.

"It's the primary challenge in our marriage, Lawson, you know that," Declan joked.

"Oh, please," he said. "We both know the primary challenge is age. I wish our bodies were younger, then we'd be able to fuck harder."

"You got that right," Declan laughed as he sipped from his mojito. He removed a letter from his pocket and slid it over to Lawson. "Check this out."

"What is this?" Lawson asked him, picking the letter up. "Are you going to divorce me or something?"

"I was just getting to that," Declan joked. Lawson faked an injury to the heart. "No, you idiot. Open it."

Lawson opened the letter and pulled the paper out. He read from it and paused, taking the words in. "This is the deed to a large property in Bayside, where we are."

"Well?" Declan said, smiling.

"Is our villa not enough?" Lawson shrugged at Declan.

"No, you fool!" Declan said. "What else can you think of?"

Lawson stared at the sky in consideration for a while. "I really don't know." He threw his hands up in the air. "You have to tell me."

"You're gonna start that math academy you always wanted to, Lawson," Declan said and Lawson's eyes widened. His mouth fell open in a loud gasp and within seconds, he had left his seat and picked up Declan in his arms. He kicked the door to the villa wide open, and carried Declan all the way to their bedroom, flinging him onto the bed and climbing onto it right after him.

❃❃❃

Years passed and memory after sweet memory piled up to the sky. They hit their late thirties and after much discussion, they finally decided to do it. They approached an agency and after a lot of money well spent and unbelievable effort put in, the agency green lit them and they went home, holding both the girl's hands in either of their hands.

The girl was precious. They knew the moment they saw her that they wanted her because she was so different from other children. She was precocious, and at a young age, she was able to play five different instruments, though she often had trouble with words after being diagnosed with dyslexia some time ago. But they didn't care. They wanted her and when they brought her back home, she told them with her fists up in the air that she loved both her daddies.

"The three of us will be together forever!" Renee shouted happily. Her dark hands were in the air, and Lawson reached out to brush his hair against her dreadlocks.

"Yes, my baby," Lawson told his daughter.

"I love you, Daddy!"

"What about me?" Declan asked.

"Of course I love you too, my other Daddy!"

"Good girl," Declan nudged the side of his daughter, who dropped to the ground to play with her small piano. She composed a new piece of music on the spot, and the home filled with the melody. "We've really come so far, haven't we, Lawson?"

"Yes," Lawson said, hand over Declan's. "And now we have our happily ever after."

"Did you know it would end like this?"

"No," Lawson chuckled. "Never."

"Me neither."

"But the moment I first kissed you, I knew I would spend the rest of my life with you. I'd burn the whole world if it stood between us, I'd get to you somehow in the end. I wonder what kind of man that makes me?"

"I would do the same. I wonder what kind of man it makes me too."

"I know."

"What?"

Ruthless Men.
