How to Tackle the Challenge of the Century?

Late at night, Su Chen, who initially thought the plan would fail but eventually succeeded with Yang Yuxin's push, returned home with mixed feelings. Yang Yuxin didn't accompany him, but as he was leaving the banquet, she teasingly placed a seductive kiss on his face with her red lips. Su Chen's initial joy from evading Lin Qingyan was immediately dampened by this move.

In the original story, he was rejected for marriage by the Lin family mainly because he was practically useless, coupled with Su Xian'er gradually taking control of the Su family. Additionally, the Su family was always dissatisfied with Lin Qingyan and naturally wouldn't want to continue assisting the Lin family. Although he wasn't as useless as in the original story, his playboy image remained unchanged, perhaps even worsened. This deterioration of his image was a significant reason for the Lin family's growing disdain.

In other words, Su Chen's strategy had always been successful. On reflection, he realized it didn't matter if the main female characters lost their reputations. Moving forward, he intended to maintain this character portrayal. Initially, Su Chen didn't want to get involved with the company as it seemed too troublesome. Especially since the business talent he had painstakingly exchanged was taken away by the system. Joining the company would essentially mean giving it away.

However, his perspective changed, and he now had a new plan. If he intended to maintain the image of a wasteful antagonist, entering the company to showcase this would be an excellent move. He set a modest goal for himself - to squander a hundred billion or so. Still, Su Chen was deeply irritated by Yang Yuxin; he utterly loathed her now. 

Yet, he quickly composed himself. After a busy day, the thought of returning home to the embrace of a beautiful woman was comforting. Before going to sleep, he let Su Xian'er massage his legs. He felt somewhat heated and thought about cooling off, just like the "handsome Kun boss."

But when Su Chen opened the door, he didn't first see Su Xian'er. Instead, Chen Yuxin, who had been temporarily staying at his home, was waiting in the living room. This surprised him. Chen Yuxin, with her righteous face, wasn't displaying the expected seriousness, but instead, a hint of a smile lingered on her lips. This immediately made Su Chen's heart race.

"Damn. Does this woman have another sinister plan?" He had some psychological reservations about Chen Yuxin. In his past life, one basketball breakthrough led to his immediate mission failure. 

Su Chen speculated that Chen Yuxin's substantial aura could likely be related to her future status. In the future, she'd be one of the most influential figures. Such a character was clearly designed to help the male lead. Su Chen knew he couldn't possess her. Hence, Chen Yuxin might even be more dangerous than Lin Qingyan.

However, when facing her, Su Chen showed no restraint and took a seat on the couch directly.

Chen Yuxin gracefully stood up, embodying the demeanor that Zhao Menghan, a maid, should have. 

"You've been waiting for me in the living room on purpose, haven't you? What's the matter?" Su Chen remarked indifferently, his face devoid of any expression, resembling a master instructing his subject. However, Chen Yuxin, being in a position of power, showed no sign of discontent from such treatment.

Instead, she wore an inviting smile on her face and gently said, "Young Master Su, I did you a significant favor today! I've been investigating a group of people lately, very suspicious, seemingly plotting something. After a rigorous interrogation, I found out that these men are under Qin Yu's command, discussing ways to target you. But don't worry, I've taken care of it for you." 

Chen Yuxin spoke to Su Chen as if she were seeking acknowledgment for her achievements, her smile beaming uncontrollably. In her heart, she was genuinely delighted to have assisted Su Chen.

However, unbeknownst to her, her words nearly infuriated Su Chen to the brink of rage. Damn it. No wonder Qin Yu hadn't taken any action; it was all sabotaged by this woman! "Chen Yuxin, how could you do something like this?" Su Chen exclaimed, clearly agitated. He was well aware of how powerful and capable Chen Yuxin was. She might very well disrupt all of Qin Yu's plans. He stared intensely at Chen Yuxin, his face reflecting utter helplessness.

But in Chen Yuxin's eyes, the scene painted a different picture. Observing Su Chen's animated state, she mistook it for Su Chen being concerned about her possibly getting implicated. This realization brought her immense satisfaction. 

She responded with a knowing smile, "Don't fret, all these people are lawbreakers, and I've dealt with them following proper procedures. Besides, you've done so much for me, even sheltering me. This is but a minor thing in comparison." 

Although she said this, the broad smile on her face clearly sought validation. It seemed like she hoped to earn Su Chen's praise. This entire exchange felt rather peculiar to Su Chen.

However, he was genuinely infuriated. If Chen Yuxin took the initiative this time, what about Yang Yuxin? Su Xian'er? Have these two ever done something similar? Damn it, thanks to Chen Yuxin's intervention, he hasn't been schemed against or harmed by Qin Yu. But Su Chen wanted Qin Yu to take the spotlight. 

He felt exasperated, thinking all the female protagonists are against him! It appears that Chen Yuxin also has developed her own consciousness. Perhaps they don't want him to be too outstanding. Nonetheless, Su Chen no longer cared about the intentions of these female protagonists, as long as they don't drug him.

"Alright, you did well, but don't act like this next time," Su Chen added after some thought. However, deep inside, he was still very frustrated.

He really didn't expect the female leads to listen to him. Yet when Chen Yuxin heard that Su Chen was still concerned about her, her smile grew even brighter, suggesting that all she had done was worth it. "Young Master, given how well I've done, shouldn't you reward me?"

Reward? What kind of ridiculous reward? And that form of address and tone, why does it remind me so much of that woman Zhao Menghan? Though somewhat exasperated, Su Chen didn't interrupt. Partly because hearing such praises felt quite gratifying. Of course, he mainly wanted to hear what Chen Yuxin had in mind. "Tell me, what do you want?"

Seeing Su Chen's agreement, Chen Yuxin's expectations soared. She had longed to grow closer to Su Chen for some time. Her face turned red as she heard Su Chen's question and she hesitantly whispered, "I... I hope you can give me a kiss..."

"No, absolutely not," Su Chen replied firmly. What a joke. Not to mention you're a female lead, even if you weren't, with my gentlemanly image, I would never engage in such an act. The saying goes, a gentleman acts rather than talks. Chen Yuxin appeared somewhat disappointed, but quickly shifted her demeanor, "Then, can you just touch my face?"

Su Chen was taken aback. "Hold on, Chen Yuxin, don't get any weird ideas!" Su Chen hesitated, wondering if this might be inappropriate. But then he thought, maybe Chen Yuxin's face was in pain and she just wanted him to comfort her? If he wasn't even willing to help that much, he'd be quite the jerk. Thus, Su Chen righteously said, "In that case, kneel down and I'll help you."

Still, Su Chen felt a bit anxious, so he took a gamble. A woman like Chen Yuxin couldn't possibly tolerate verbal affronts without responding, right? If she doesn't retort, it might mean that her character setting had collapsed, and touching her face shouldn't be a big deal. As expected, Chen Yuxin didn't react but just stood there stunned. This thrilled Su Chen. It was working!

"Young Master, do you prefer young girls or mature women?" Out of the blue, Chen Yuxin asked a baffling question. Su Chen was dumbstruck on the spot. Is that even a question a woman should ask? It's akin to choosing between white silk or black silk stockings—a real conundrum. In this day and age, who still picks one over the other?

As Su Chen struggled to find an answer, his eyes inadvertently darted to the beautiful woman beside him.

Su Chen scanned Chen Yuxin from top to bottom, taking in her entire appearance. The traditional qipao she wore perfectly outlined her curves, and the slit of the dress subtly revealed her long legs. However, what was most alluring was Chen Yuxin's nearly flawless face. Her long hair was styled in a mature updo, complemented by black-framed glasses. At that moment, Chen Yuxin exuded an unparalleled charm, a perfect embodiment of a mature woman.

Clearing his throat, Su Chen remarked, "I prefer younger girls. I don't like your type." His intention was clear: if she was going to be upset, he'd make her even more upset! Truthfully, Su Chen wished to avoid any further involvement with Chen Yuxin. However, through her love-struck eyes, she seemed to have selectively only heard the first part of what he said, ignoring the latter.

Chen Yuxin then slightly parted her qipao-wrapped legs and knelt in front of Su Chen. She let down her hair and removed her glasses. Offering her delicate fair face to Su Chen's hand, her eyes retained that mature allure, but now also held a hint of innocence.

Su Chen was taken aback, thinking, "I knew this would happen!" Seeing Chen Yuxin, seemingly ready for him to do as he wished, Su Chen realized he had to act. Reluctantly, he reached out to her.
