Meeting of the Three Federation Leaders & Oddities

Inside the palace, numerous dignitaries had gathered, their expressions marked by seriousness.

"Is everything secure for Princess Sharon's arrival?" A man with delicate features and jet-black hair inquired, his tone filled with concern for the person seated beside him.

In response, the man beside him folded his hands and nodded courteously.

"It should be safe. Guardian troops from our Federation, the Arcadia Federation, have been dispatched to provide support for this meeting," the man, who is the leader of one of the three Federations, the Arcadia Federation, reassured in a calm tone.

These three federations, the dominant forces currently governing the Earth, had replaced the nations decimated by the Martian forces in the war.

The three Federations—Arcadia, Arcana, and Ares—each held considerable power and, of course, collaborated without hostility.

"I understand. What are your thoughts, Leader Lucas?" The man turned his attention to a man with snow-white hair and an exceptionally handsome face.

"Given your efforts to send additional Guardian troops as a gesture of goodwill to the Arcana Federation, I'm truly grateful to both of you. I hope we can all reach an agreement with the Martian troops," Lucas replied, opening his closed eyes and offering a smile to the two men before him.

The two men nodded at each other, returning the smile.

...

After the meeting concluded, Lucas Luke nodded towards the other two leaders.

"Alright, then I'll excuse myself. You can proceed to the main courtyard of the palace first." Lucas stood up from his seat and offered a respectful bow to the two leaders of the Federations.

"Of course, please don't worry about us, Leader Lucas." Juan Leire, the head of the Ares Federation, rose from his seat, cupping his hands together in a gesture of respect towards Lucas.

"That's correct. I'm very pleased with your arrangement, Leader Lucas. I hope the treaty with the Martians can lead us to lasting peace, preventing any further conflicts between us and  them."Dale Phantom, the leader of the Arcadia Federation, also rose from his seat and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Lucas.

The relationship between the three of them was exceptionally close, as they all held the highest positions on Earth.

A single decision from any of them could significantly influence the world's direction, which is why they understood one another and collaborated closely.

"Thank you, and the same to both of you," Lucas replied warmly, offering a nod and a smile to the two leaders before leaving the meeting room.

The staff, ministers, and officials from each Federation exchanged laughter and handshakes, reinforcing the bond between the three Federations.

It served as a poignant reminder of humanity's aspiration for lasting peace.

Meanwhile, Lucas, who had exited the meeting room, walked with a hint of anxiety on his face, a departure from the calm expression he had displayed earlier.

"Leader Lucas, please wait!" Suddenly, a man's voice echoed from behind.

Lucas swiftly turned around to see a handsome man with short purple hair approaching, clutching a document bag.

At the sight of this man, Lucas, who had previously appeared worried, swiftly regained his composure, returning to his usual calm demeanor.

"Robert? Didn't I tell you not to be so formal when it's just the two of us?" Lucas smiled warmly and patted Robert's shoulder gently.

Upon hearing this, Robert shook his head and grinned.

"Hahaha, my apologies, big brother." Robert laughed lightly and immediately shifted to a more familiar tone of address with Lucas.

Robert Frey served as the deputy leader of the Arcana Federation, and he held Lucas's utmost trust within the organization.

He was also the father of Arshley Frey, Aether's fiancée.

Lucas and Robert had shared a close bond since their childhood, with Lucas considering Robert his younger brother and Robert, in turn, seeing Lucas as his older brother.

Due to his unwavering trust in Robert's capabilities, Lucas appointed him as the deputy leader of the Federation, utilizing his authority as the leader.

"Do you require something from me, Robert?" Lucas pondered for a moment and asked casually.

"Well, there are a few things I need to discuss with you," Robert replied, his expression taking on a slightly serious tone.

"Hmm? It's rare to see you this serious." Lucas raised an eyebrow and questioned him with skepticism.

In response, Robert let out a sigh and handed a document he was holding to Lucas, saying, "Big brother, there are some matters I need to bring to your attention. Please take a look at this document."

Taking the document and examining it closely, Lucas promptly opened it and began reading.

After five minutes of perusal and rereading, Lucas's expression darkened.

"Are they truly serious?"
