The phrase "flower realm" echoed in his ears. Nirav rushed toward her and gently hovered his hands above her wounds. A soft golden light glowed between his hands and hers. He removed the poison left by the demons.
With this, she won't die, he thought. In the human realm, I can't use much of my power.
"Adhyant, take her to the temple. There will be people there to care for her. Quickly…"
Adhyant flew with her in his arms toward the temple at the top of the forest. Nirav stayed behind, searching for any signs of other petrified demons. Just as he was about to leave, the small tiger demon tugged at his robes.
Looking at the little red cub, he said; "Ohhh... I forgot about you." He bent down and continued, "I'm sparing you because you tried to save a person. Now, leave."
Nir was still tugging at his robes. "My master is powerless now. I have to be with her, even if it means using this phoenix," he said to himself. His determination to be with her was evident.
"It seems like she is important... Look, I don't help demons," Nirav declared.
When Adhyant reached the temple, everything was calm. Blood was dripping from her dress. Although Nirav treated the poison in her wound, she should be treated soon. Adhyant called for help, his voice breaking the serene silence of the temple. An elderly monk heard his cries and quickly approached, concern etched on his face.
"What happened?" the monk asked, his voice filled with concern as he noticed the blood.
"Animals attacked this girl, and I found her while passing by," Adhyant explained, He chose not to mention the demons, sensing that it might only increase the fear surrounding them.
"Please, she needs your help," his voice sounded sad. He felt a bond towards her, reminding him of his old days with the flower realm.
The monk hurriedly called others from the temple as they took her away. "Lord... Akira..." they exclaimed, startled. "Lord Akira got injured..." They rushed to rescue her. News of her injury spread like wildfire, and the once calm temple suddenly erupted into chaos.
"So she is Akira..." Nirav arrived at the temple and was taken aback by the disorder. As Adhyant turned to respond, he was surprised to see his lord holding the demon tiger.
"He was stubborn about visiting her, and I felt sorry for him. After all, he saved her," Nirav explained.
The old monk approached them with a gesture of thanks. "She has been treated and is out of danger. Thank goodness, the wound was not deep and did not damage any organs." But then his gaze shifted to the tiger.
"Nir..." He snatched him from Nirav. "You know him?"
"Yes, he is Lord Akira's pet, the famous little red cat. It is the symbol of our lord."
"A red cat?!" Adhyant looked at the monk in disbelief.
"I will take him to Lord," the monk declared, and he went inside the temple with Nir.
"A fairy petting a demon! Interesting..." Nirav mused.
