In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

At night, Killian made his way to Heinrich's room impulsively. He had been tossing and turning around in his bed all night. After promising the Princess, Killian couldn't sit still and do nothing. Standing outside Heinrich's room, he contemplated how he should confront him. Would anger and angst win against the immortal?

Killian finally decided to open the door when it opened from the inside. Heinrich immediately frowned upon seeing Killian.

"What do you want?" Heinrich asked furiously.

"An explanation," Killian said calmly.

"I am not answerable to you," Heinrich said before walking away from Killian.

Killian furrowed his brow, "Then I am leaving the mansion with her Royal Highness." He announced furiously, causing Heinrich to stop. "You cannot stop us."

"Where will you even go?" Heinrich turned his head to look back.

"Anywhere but here," Killian murmured.
