In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

"So?" Gisela Siegert murmured - the old lady who had lost her guard son at the mansion - as he was curious about the Princess's situation. "Why did you follow him?"

The Princess looked at the ground, holding her gown. They were all sitting around the fireplace, hearing each others' stories. Killian and some other men were looking out for them as it had gotten dark.

"Because I thought I could control him…" The Princess murmured, "He had a valuable quill. I thought that Quill could persuade my parents for me to marry him. Since he was a commoner, I figured it would be easy to control him. In that way, Crown Prince Leon and Consort Helene would never get what they wanted, and I would make my father happy. It is a selfish reason. Maybe that is why I got punished." She explained.
