In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

Stumbling from tree to tree, the Princess finally reached a point on the hill where she could see the village. She narrowed her eyes, searching for Killian frantically. Although she knew she should use the time Elisabeth had bought her to run away, the Princess couldn't leave without Killian.

The village was visible from her standing, but the Princess couldn't see Killian. She tried observing from different angles. All she could see was some assassins walking about searching for people.

Unable to leave, the Princess slowly walked down the hill to look for Killian.

"Who is there!" An assassin shouted, spotting the Princess walking down.

The Princess gasped and turned around to run away. The assassins were downhill, so it would take a while for them to catch up. Or, that is what the Princess thought.
