In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

Heinrich brought a physician with him. The Princess quickly stood up from the bed and stepped aside. The physician who had walked into the room with Heinrich looked too familiar. The Princess narrowed his eyes and looked at him.

"Dr. Hoover," Heinrich called him, "Please look at both of them. They are both failing to remember things correctly."

The Princess's eyes widened. The physician was from the Hoover family! He had dark hair and eyes, pale skin, and a mole under his lips. His appearance was like the Heinrich she knew, just a little younger. The physician appeared to be in his late 20s.

"Lady Elisa, please take a seat." The physician muttered.

Even his voice was similar! The Princess was unaware that Heinrich had taken Anton Hoover's body in the future. She only knew the Hoover family had saved him from perishing in the wormhole.

Now that she witnessed the physician, she could tell that this body would be traded for Heinrich's soul shortly.
