In a post-apocalyptic world, Princess Sofia fancies a commoner on the streets and follows him to the Mountains of Death from where she ends up in a 17th-century mansion, where the commoner - Heinrich - is the owner of the mansion and the Princess is forced to work for him.

“What do you want from me?” The Princess asked frustratingly. 

“You must think you are the main character or something.” The man chuckled, “Sofia, I want nothing from you. You followed me. I did not abduct you.” 

“I made a mistake. I request you to send me back.” 

“I cannot,” The man replied. “It is not under my command. It comes and goes.”

“What does that mean?” 

“That means you are stuck here. Probably for life.”

Heinrich completely ignored her, slipped the keys to the room into the little pocket of his coat, and tried to walk away from the crime scene. The Princess quickly grabbed his arm, trying to reach out for his pocket with her other hand. 

Heinrich immediately grabbed her hand and pulled her toward himself, then pushed her to the wall, holding both her hands to it. He frowned at her with all the rage he had in his body. But it didn’t hide the lingering sorrow in his eyes. They could tear up any moment now. 

The Princess didn’t know if she wanted to feel sad for him or resent him. He was a confusing man. 

“L-Let me go…” The Princess sheepishly demanded. 

“Why?” Heinrich asked with anger. “Who told you to meddle in my affairs?”

Eternal Castle

The Princess sat still as Heinrich did her hair. Today was Hildebrand and Anne-Marie's wedding ceremony, so Heinrich paid extra attention to the Princess. For Anne-Marie, servants were arranged.

"You seem nervous," Heinrich muttered playfully while doing her hair.

The Princess pressed her lips together, "I am…"

"I am sure Hilde is nervous, too." Heinrich chuckled, "I might be the only one who is not nervous," He laughed.

The Princess chuckled alongside him, "How are you not nervous? He is our only son. Do you not think it is nerve-wracking to imagine him getting married?"

"It is, it is," Heinrich nodded, "But more than that, I am happy for him. I think Hilde has grown into a fine man. I am excited to see his married life." Heinrich chuckled.

The Princess smiled into the mirror, looking at Heinrich through it. He treated his wife so well. She wanted to treat him just as good as he treated her.
