Chapter 8 pathetic

I could feel everything move too fast , I was flying in the air and I was flying too hard.

I crashed too hard on the statue of the angel which was kept near the entrance. It crashed down and it fell on both of us .

Even though the damage was 90% the pain felt real and the damage was still getting a lot of my hp , which was not too much , so I was left with 3% of my health.

I slowly opened my eyes and everything was blurred at the beginning, My ears were ringing a bit but everything cleared up.

Helena was on the bad side, she got stuck underneath the statue , but luckily her gummy rock had broken up , and she was unconscious and her status in the party was good.

But Irene's status was not so good , her health was coming down drastically. She had clinged on to the back of the snake and was tearing away at its flesh as if she had gone mad, she was slashing and slaying , and three headed snake which had already lost one of its head lost an another head.

The naga did not worry about it , it was as if it was obsessed with killing Helena, with a subtle shake and wham Irene was slapped away by the snake she fell hard on the ground near Helena and me.

I looked at her, she was unconscious and the state of her health was not so good. I knew what I had to do , I cannot let two jun's die , if I die it's only three days of game time , bug if they die they lose their lives forever.

So I stood up ,my brother had given me three basic potions ,and a super potion just in case I needed it. I poured the super potion on Irene, her health recovered a bit.

For some reason the snake was keeping still and not attacking me, it was as if it was getting ready to hunt it's pretty.

It was also regenerating at a faster rate. It's wounds were starting to heal and the two heads thag were cut off had started to bud.

I knew what I had to do even though , I definitely cannot defeat a level 300 naga by being a level 0 player, I had to try it for the sake of the juns behind me . I chose to die trying ,so that I can rest in peace saying atleast I tried.

I took the dagger out of my storage. I chewed on the hue candy and ran straight towards it. The notification bar appeared in front of me again.

"Quest update:

Defeat the King of poison and save Helena and Irene "

Difficulty:SSS

I didn't look through it all I had to do was either stall the naga in front of me or kill it , and save the juns.

I ran as fast as my feet could take me , the naga spit something towards me I avoided , it the regeneration was getting a bit slow.

The naga slammed its tail , I barely jumped over it and reached its back.

Irene's sword was stuck to its back , I knew it was going to be a gamble but the only way I can cause any damage to the snake was strike it where it would hurt and that was the only way to do any damage to it.

Whenever the snake moved it seemed to slow down its regeneration. So I knew I will get a chance to hurt it somehow if I climbed on its back.

I ran as quickly as I could towards its tail , so that I can somehow climb its back. And before I made it near the tail , wham I was sent flying.

I was laying down the ground again with 10% of my health. I tried the same again and was left with the same results .

The snake didn't seem to budge from its place , it was as if I was too pathetic that I couldn't hurt it at all and it didn't really consider me as a prey but a play thing ,and something to satisfy its hunger after it healed.

I chewed on the last hue candy , I had and ran towards the snake. I dodged its tail and grabbed on to it and jumped as high as I could , I was about to reach the sword , but wham I was sent flying again.

I opened my eyes , I was left with the same condition. I knew it was over the naga had regrown its other two head , it was only seconds before everything ended. Just as I was thinking that, a giant mouth gobbled me up whole.

I was dead and inside the naga's stomach, and my shirt had somehow got caught on the sword stuck on the side. I had revived back and saved from death because of the gummy rock , but If I was eaten I knew the next would be the juns.

I had to think fast ,I tried slicing the skin of the naga with my dagger , no avail it started to corrode because of the poison on it's skin.

The dagger was about to break so I threw it as hard as I could and it struck something on the inside of the naga's mouth. It was it's poison sac, located before it's fangs.

The posion started to spill and I fell along with it , I was completely surrounded by poison , I tried my best. I was losing 1% of my health per second , so I had only 150 seconds to live, I even tried biting its skin , it didn't work. It felt miserable I thought I could end it by drinking the poison below.

For some reason the highly corrosive poison didn't seem to hurt me much. I mean it was taking huge chunks of hp from Irene , but for me a level 0 , 1% per second seemed very low. Was it a big I wondered.

The naga went near the angel statue and gobbled up it, thinking it was gobbling up Helena. But it missed it and the angel statue fell just before me, missing my head and body by inches.

I knew it was going to be Helena next so I closed my eyes. But before it could get to her , I could hear my brother's shout. Even though it was muffled I could still hear it clearly.

"How dare you kill my little brother"
