Chapter 9 level 0 slayer

My hope was lit again and I had one last basic potion , which was capable of completely recovering my health. So I took one.

I could feel the fight getting intense , the snake was moving too fast and it was making me hurl. I looked at the broken statue of the angel in front of me. I looked at my hand and the hex soul in my hand.

I knew it was something that could help me somehow , I lost my dagger , it was the only weapon I had. So the hex soul was the last hope.

"I don't know when you are coming out to this world , but I really really need your help now"

When I muttered these words it felt like childish, but something strange happened , a small ounce of light travelled from the broken statue and travelled into my palm.

But still nothing happened. It looked the same, but for some reason the naga seemed to act bizarre , as if it had something in it that was hurting it , the naga vomited me out of its mouth along with the angel statue.

For some reason , the naga seemed to act a bit bizarre ever since the light appearrd from the angel statue, as if it was afraid or ate something unlikable. I was out drenched in poison.

I was dying , I could see that from my falling hp bar. But before it could end , "heal".

I was healed of my status condition just like that and was completely healed.

It was Helena , and she was tending to me after having tended to her sister.

Irene and my brother was keeping the naga on check.

Slash! I could see one of its head fall down.

Two more heads remaining. After the two fighting that thing for over an hour, its other heads fell down.

Everyone thoughg it was over, but for some reason the quest hadn't cleared down. It still was showing up.

Just when Irene and my brother turned back, something strange covered up the naga , it was a black goo and the naga was back to normal as if it had never died. Something was off of the naga .

"Hidden boss , The poison demon king has awakened", a global notification was sent to every player, none of them knew it's location but two players were already fighting it.

The snake didn't have three heads anymore , it had become one ,and it had a dark hue of black surrounding it as if it was its aura.

"This looks very bad, I am short on mana and I don't think I can hold on very long fighting against the thing"

"Yeah it doesn't seem like something we can take on , we need help",Irene replied.

Just when they finished saying that, the tail of the naga swashed towards us and I couldn't even see it , the two in front of me flew away on to the ground head first.

A huge light started enveloping me. For a second I thought I had died too.

"It was time that you summoned me master",the mark on my hand was glowing.

The naga swing its tail back again at me. Something strange happened, bong!

The naga was repeled back as if it had something sturdy than itself.

A panda was laying in front of me , a cute little panda, it had a strange aura surrounding it. It was back and white and it was too cute to be placed in a battle field.

"Ooh that's a tough one, and boss I can pretty much hear all your thoughts."

It changed quickly into a sword that perfectly fit my hands. It was not heavy , it was as if I was still having the dagger in my hands it was that weightless.

"Before going into battle it would be better if you knew my skills", it's thoughts flowed into my head.

I glanced at my skills and I quickly framed a attack plan. It was strange ,

"Status freeze: Any or every status affecting you will lose its value over time and will have reduced 90% reduced status effect than from its original effect, when affected"

"Damage freeze: When hex soul is not in use , the damage recieved by you is nullified 20%"

"Damage absorption: Once a day you can absorb any amount of damage done.It will be shown in the damage counter".

"Counter strike: Every ounce of damage you recieved, can be doubled and sent back on a single strike , can be used only once per day".

"Whew , I could have died many a times", looking at the damage counter it was obvious.

I ran towards the naga with one thought in my head, "Run and slay"

The two who flew away were confused,"little brother nooo!",shouted my brother.

I ran as fast as my feet could take me, The tail came in front of me , I jumped and I ran , it came again I dodged , I dodged again and again.

I knew I had to do one thing, dodge everything until I make a hit.

It changed its attack pattern , it started spitting poison like crazy, it was literally oozing out everywhere.

My brother and Irene joined the fight,

"I know you have something on your mind , do it"

The distracted the naga for a second, and that was all I needed.

"Counterrr strikeeee", I slashed the sword as had as I could pull. For a second nothing happened, everything stood still , it was as if time had stood still.

A huge slash mark appeared on the naga's body. And it fell sliced into two as if was a paper , and a loud thud reached our ears.

I stood still, nothing was on my mind , my mind fell at a strange peace and I fell .

I lied down , A dozen of notifications popped on my screen.

I was enjoying the peace , I saw three figures in front of my face, it was my brother , Irene and Helena.

They were standing around and looking at me as if I had done the impossible with a joyful and tearful face.

My brother was looking at me as if he knew I would do it.Was he that confident that I can finish it off.

"Maybe this will be etched of in history as how a lvl 0 noob battled and brought down a lvl 300 monster."he said and the other two agreeingly nodded.
