Chapter 21

Before Rose finished speaking, a familiar figure suddenly left the consulting room behind her.

"Mom."

When Rose heard the girl's tender and childish voice, her complacent and mean face suddenly changed drastically.

Elizabeth followed the voice and recognized Rose's daughter Laura at a glance.

Laura was holding a checkup list in her hand with a pale face and lips. She didn't look well. Before Elizabeth reacted, Rose stopped ridiculing her and turned to pull Laura away.

From her hasty footsteps, Elizabeth guessed what had happened.

However, Elizabeth had never intended to poison other people's private affairs, so she didn't take it to heart.

After a while, Rose came back alone. She might have placed her daughter in another place.

Rose went up to Elizabeth again with a mean expression that didn't match her well-maintained face.

"Ms. Blaine, if you're sensible, you should know that some things cannot be said."
