The blind girl Leana Thorley married the crippled man Graham Standen as the substitute for her sister. Their marriage was decided all too fast.

Graham raised his eyebrows. "I'm Graham Standen. I dropped out of school at 16 and relied on my parents since then. Now I'm a 26-year-old idler."

Leana gritted her teeth. "Alright, try not to idle around, and I'll take care of you. We can manage to support ourselves."
