You'll make it up to her. My wolf encouraged. It was okay for him to say that, I had never made anything up to a girl in my life, I never had to. If they weren't happy with the way they were treated, they would be told to leave. Not that I ever had to do that, every girl I had been with knew that it was a one time thing and nothing else. I didn't want a girl with all the added extras.
"You're quiet." The sweet little voice from beside me suddenly said. Glancing over, I hated and loved the fact I didn't want to take my eyes off her, even at the cost of a pile up in the middle of the road. She looked doubtful and there was no hiding the panic on her face either.
"I'm nervous." The words slipped out before I could stop them. Dammit. My eyes didn't have to be on her to know she was fighting back a smile.
"Me too." She lowered her head, letting her hair fall to the side and act as a wall between us. Lifting my hand, I brushed it back behind her ear.
