Chapter 129

There was no chance of me stopping myself from laughing. "Now you know I feel when your mind plays its own little movie of us." I winked, chuckling at how quickly her cheeks can be covered with an apple-red blush.

Pushing herself up, she kept tight hold of my jersey around her naked body, her hair falling over her right shoulder. Man, what I would give to have that view every damn day. Not being able to resist any more, I sat up, wrapping my arms around her waist and kissed all the way up from her shoulder to her neck, loving how her head tilted to give me better access to her delicious skin.

Dropping my jersey, she reached for her own shirt and slipped it over her head. My wolf subtly growled, but he kept back and left me in complete control. He didn't like that she was moving away from us, but he knew he couldn't push it with her. I had screwed up enough and now it was my chance to make things right. Acting like a Neanderthal wouldn't do either of us any favours.
