Hannah immediately stopped Nathan when he was about to leave.
"What are you doing? Natalie brought you out to meet her friends, and you're leaving without saying goodbye?" Hannah said.
"I guess he probably saw Mr. Luke's skills and felt ashamed." Mr. Mandy laughed.
Then he said to Natalie, "Natalie, fencing is a noble sport. But he is a bumpkin, so he doesn't know how to play."
"Thus, it is understandable if he wants to leave in advance."
Natalie said coldly, "Nathan, don't think yourself too important. I brought you here, and you dare to embarrass me? How would my dad think of you if I told him?"
Luke sorted out his protective gear and said lightly, "Forget it, Natalie. A bumpkin will never become a noble. Fencing is not suitable for him, so just let him go to the basketball court outside."
Nathan twitched his mouth, shook his head, and said, "I'm not interested in this kind of fancy sport. Swords are for killing people, not for playing."
Mr. Mandy jeered Nathan and said, "How dare you judge fencing?"
"I think you are ranting on purpose because you don't know how to fence at all."
"If you think you can do it, don't sneak away like a coward and practice with Mr. Luke!"
Luke shook his head and said, "Forget it, don't force him. I'm afraid that I might hurt him."
Nathan also knew that if he didn't act, these guys would never let him go. And he wouldn't know how to get out of this matter if Hector knew about it.
Nathan frowned and said, "Okay, I'll be gentle."
"So ridiculous! Have you ever played fencing before, you bumpkin? You're so arrogant!" Hannah was the first to laugh.
Luke narrowed his eyes and said indifferently, "Since you want to try, I'll play with you."
Nathan wanted to get it done as soon as possible so he wouldn't need to deal with Jade again. He picked up a sword.
"Put on the protective gear, I'm afraid I might cripple you," Luke said.
"It's not necessary. Let's end this quickly." Nathan weighed the toy-like sword with his hand and shook his head.
Luke felt rather annoyed. "Okay, let's get started!"
He stepped away and pointed his sword at Nathan. Then, he breathed deeply, and the sword in his hand was as steady as a column. A terrifying pressure suddenly appeared around him.
Nathan stood leisurely without even raising his sword. Clearly, he didn't know how to fence.
"Looking at the way he stands and holds the sword, you can tell that he is a layman. He's so pretentious and didn't even wear protective gear. I'm afraid Mr. Luke might stab his eyes with one strike!" Mr. Mandy said with a sneer.
Natalie saw it and became hesitated.
Hannah seemed to see her softening and immediately said, "Natalie, you can't hesitate!"
"We have to let him know the difference between him and us. Otherwise, he might never agree to divorce!"
"Mr. Luke knows what he's doing and won't hurt Nathan badly. Don't worry,"
Natalie nodded slightly.
"Start!"
Luke took a stride and raised his sword to stab Nathan's upper body.
Mr. Mandy praised, "Look at Mr. Luke's attack. His movement is clean and sharp, without any fanciness, which is as good as a professional athlete's!"
Luke's strike was sudden, and his movement was direct and clean. Even a professional athlete couldn't do it better.
Nathan's slack stance remained unchanged. He moved when Luke's sword was about to stab into his body.
"This bumpkin will regret that he didn't wear protective gear..." Mr. Mandy grinned.
Before he finished speaking, Nathan's wrist flicked and blocked Luke's sword, and then he swung the sword downwards as if swatting a fly.
"Ouch!"
Luke suffered heavily from Nathan's move, which was not elegant at all. He only felt a pain in his wrist, and the sword in his hand was knocked off.
Everyone's expressions instantly froze, looking at each other in disbelief.
Luke was the third runner-up in the competition, and his level was close to that of a professional athlete, but Nathan defeated him!
"I'm leaving if there's nothing else. Don't ask me to play such a boring sport again." Nathan dropped the sword and turned to leave.
Hannah said angrily, "Impossible! You must have used some trick to win Mr. Luke by chance."
Mr. Mandy came back to his senses. "That must be it. You must stay and apologize to Mr. Luke!"
"Nonsense!"
Nathan snorted coldly and didn't bother to pay attention to these boring guys. He shook his hand and walked away.
Luke held his wrist in pain. Nathan could have broken his wrist if he hadn't had gloves and protective gear.
Just then, Jade happened to see Nathan leaving the club and Natalie and the others.
She put down the well-made bow and walked slowly toward them.
Negino was stunned for a while. He didn't seem to have offended Jade, but why did she walk away without saying anything? He quickly followed behind her.
Negino saw Nathan walking out of the club and felt confused. "Why does he look like Mr. Nathan?"
"Holy sh*t, General Perkins is walking towards us!"
They were all dumbfounded when they saw Jade approaching them, and their bodies couldn't help trembling.
Jade was not only beautiful but also very brave. She was an outstanding heroine who had achieved great things that countless men couldn't do!
Since she became well-known, people would praise her with all the vocabulary they could use to compliment a woman.
No man didn't admire a woman like Jade.
Likewise, no woman didn't desire to become someone like her.
Luke, Hannah, and the others who were still aloof just now couldn't help shrinking their necks at this moment.
Jade's footsteps became louder, and everyone felt their heartbeat seemed to be integrated with this sound.
The aura of this woman is too stunning!
