"Let me hold him," Boris eagerly offered when he heard Nancy's words. "Mom, you've worked hard."
Nancy retorted sourly. "What's so hard about holding my own grandson? It's you, our guest, who shouldn't be bothered to hold the child."
Boris stood up with a smile and walked over to her. He reached out to take the baby, saying, "Mom, let me do it."
After saying this, Boris nervously looked at Ewen, afraid that he would cry like he did when they were in Japera City last time, just by seeing Boris.
One second...
Two seconds...
This time, Ewen didn't cry, but instead stared at him with curious eyes.
Nancy asked again, "You have never held a baby before, do you know how to hold a baby? Don't hurt my precious grandson."
Boris blurted out, "I've learned how to."
Nancy looked surprised and skeptical.
Boris, however, was solely focused on little Ewen and didn't notice her reaction.
