Azandra POV
An hour later, Azandra stepped outside of Birdcliff to meet Kyon, who walked at a fast clip toward her with a guilty frown on his face.
Moon Goddess, she felt so grateful to see him, she wanted to hug him.
And she also wanted to smack him.
She settled for running up to him and hissing, “How could you?”
His eyes looked like a pup’s. “You can really ask me that, after last night?”
The memories flooded her with heat and emotion. Throughout the long night, he’d loved her tenderly, passionately. It felt like a world all their own without cold reality intruding. It felt like a dream, a waking dream. He’d kissed every inch of her body. He’d worshiped her with his mouth and hands and let her do as she liked with his big body. Time and again, he’d insisted on looking into her eyes as he brought her to new heights of bliss … and she’d felt so connected to him. He hadn’t marked her yet and she still felt what he felt.
