CHAPTER 12

There in a large hall were decorations everywhere in the name of Jade's birthday party, there were colourful flowers used in this decoration, music was playing loud,it was loud enough for the kingdom to hear,a big red velvet flavoured cake was just by the conner, of the hall,but yet there were no guests insight but Jade who was sitting on a chair which looked like it was made for a king,with Maria,Path and Nyx standing beside her like they were protectors of a throne.

Nyx:I'm beginning to think that no one would show up for you.

Jade: Well, if not for me, they should for their lives.

Marie: Do you really think it was wise to threaten people to come to your birthday celebration.

Jade: You must really think of me a fool, right?

Marie: No, I would never think of such.

Jade tried saying something to Marie when she heard the door opening and she saw people coming inside and they actually dressed up,they were also holding gifts as they entered, she knew deep down that no one would show up not after all the horrible things she heard about her but they came not empty handed but with gifts too, this act of kindness from the kingdom to her,made her smile but immediately she saw a face she was hoping to see she became more excited, she tried standing up but nyx wisphered to her and she sat back down before anyone would noticed,it was like maybe she didn't want anyone thinking of her as soft, Everyone gathered together in the middle of the hall,the celebrations were not to be being without a speech,So they all looked up to jade, they were all awaiting her speech to being, just then Jade stood up from the chair,She was wearing a black ball gown with red roses attached to the bottoms as design, her hair was lay straight,it glowed as red as the fire, Her skin was as white as snow, so pale that she looked out of blood but her beauty still remains,capturing the sight of many,she spoke as she addressed everyone,whom were staring deeply at her,as if commanded not to look away.

Jade: Welcome everyone, I am deeply touched by the fact that all of you made it today and for those who didn't make it, I hold no grudges,i promise,but I must say thank you for coming, it is maybe my birthday, I don't remember yet but I truly wish for once to be celebrated and not hated, so I say feast and enjoy the party, drinks, foods but cake later,and I promise you the food is not poisoned (she smiled),So thank you once again for coming.

The crowd appreciated Jade by clapping,Jade smiled as she sat back down, Jade was quite surprised when she noticed everyone was engaging in the party,they were dancing,drinking and even eating and then she saw Stefen walking towards her, the face she's was hoping to see all night, but at first Path tried to stop him but Jade gave him a signal with her without saying a word, to let him through, so Marie,nyx and Path left Jade alone with stefen but their eyes were still with her,Sefen handed a gift to Jade and she smiled.

Jade: You know this is the first time I've ever received any gift from you.

Stefen: Well, once you regain all your memories, I'm sure you will get to know that i have given you many gifts on many separate occasions, but you do not remember as of yet. Happy birthday.

Jade: Thank you. I also have a gift for you too.

Stefen : Gift, but it is your birthday, not Mine.

Jade: I know,but is it really my birthday though,so it's nothing gifting you, it's a very special present,you will have to follow me.

Stefen: Hmmm, okay. (he agreed without hesitation)

Jade took stefen by the hand and they walked outside as the people in the crowd looked at them,they went to a small tent she prepared outside not too far away from the hall,when they got inside, there's a bed there and jade asked stefen to lay down on it and without saying anything stefen did as he was told,Jade took off her ball gown but there was still cloth underneath, she then ask stefen to take off his shirt as he laid down, he did exactly that,Jade laid on him,she used her hand to stork his soft black hair so softly, she kissed him gently on the cheek and smiled, but stefen just looked at her with no emotion in his eyes,Jade didn't mind this she knows stefen didn't like her but she had hope because of her plan,she brought out a little knife from her socks,she waved it around stefen's face,as if she was going to cut him but stefen remained clam,she then used the knife to crafted a symbol on her hand,and although it may sound painful, it wasn't, but this time around it was a new symbol not as the same as the ones she's been using to take powers away because this time she giving powers , as soon as blood came out of her body,the tent became hot inside.

Stefen: What are you doing,Jade?

Jade: Shh, It's a surprise

She then placed the hand with the symbol on stefen's stomach, and it was like placing a hot iron on a flesh,it was very painful, stefen wouldn't hold in the scream, so he screamed but jade held it off with a kissed in other not to alert the others inside the party but she was sure they couldn't hear him.

Minutes later, she removed her hand and lips from stefen, but he had fainted due to the pain,and the tent was back to its normal temperature,even the scar on stefen and Jade's hand had healed,Jade sat aside waiting for stefen to wake.Nyx came to the tent and called out jade.

Jade: Are you sure his not dead?

Nyx: Dead,what do you take me for, you are me and I am you ,so I won't want to kill the man that we love,so no his not dead, he will wake soon.

Jade: Okay,so what are you doing here.

Nyx: Gaia is here.

Jade: Inside?

Nyx: No ,she left. She gave me instructions on how to perform the spell that will put us together.

Jade: Yes, that's good. Do you want to do it now? We can find a place.

Nyx: No, maybe later,just go be with stefen he will wake soon.

Jade: Okay.

Nyx went back to the party and jade into the tent, and truly, stefen was waking up. He was sitting.

Jade: You're awake,I thought you were going to die (smiling).

Stefen: No way,i know i won't, nyx already told me it was going to work,so I believe her.

Jade:What was going to work? (still smiling)

Stefen: The spell that you just did,the one to give me my powers back.

Jade: How did you know that is what i was doing? (Her Smile slowly fading).

Stefen: I just told you, nyx told me (he laughs). i can't believe you did this,Do you know why you took away my powers.

Jade: I don't remember.

Stefen: I will help you remember.

Stefen came closer to Jade and placed two of his fingers on Jade's head. He said a spell, and just like that, all memories that Jade seemed to have forgotten about when she came to the kingdom all came flooding back.

Jade became frightened, she fell out of shock but immediately picked up herself but as she wanted to make a run for it stefen caught up to her, he then forcefully dragged her by the hair all the way to the party,As they came inside people gasped and the music was turned off,the whole crowd stared at jade lying on the ground in front of them.

Stefen: (he shouts as he speaks) Is this your one preferred queen, lying in firth, unable to defend herself nor her people, she has given me my powers back out of love (he laughs) Such a fool ,your queen is,How pathetic ,if anyone is fit to rule it should be nyx, she is the one true Queen which all of you have denied and locked up to suffer for internity but she is here and soon fully in her power and glory.

Jade was very confused. She saw Path tied to a chair, and marie was the one doing it. She picked up her strength and asked what was happening, but then she saw nyx walking up to her, laughing.

Nyx: Oh dear Jade, you have been deceived again (she rolled her eyes).How about i tell you a little story? I will tell you the whole truth story.

Jade and blaire were children to the demon King and Queen ,with Blaire being the oldest and jade the last,but after Michael the demon slayer killed the King of demons, the queen sent her children who were still youngsters to revenge their father's death as she mourns ,They were to find Michael the demon slayer and kill him which they did but jade had a dark side that only wanted death ,stealing magic and killing,blaire with the help of some witches ,preformed a spell, this spell helped them get rid of Jade's dark side which named itself nyx and nyx was banished to the other side, They took Jade's memories and made the kingdom appear like the human realm, so that nothing could trigger any memories, and everytime jade tried to remember, the kingdom fight against it by casting a memory weaping spell,but this time she got stronger and now nyx is out.

Nyx: So you get it now, but i don't need you. You are a weak side of me that needs to die.

Jade was still in disbelief ,she wouldn't believe anything anymore. The stories were just too much. She didn't know which to believe.

Nyx: Seems Jade is finding it hard to believe,too bad, I won't give you too much time to remember.

Path: (he yells) You stay away from her you fucking cunt.

Nyx: Careful,brother.

Path: Oh cut the shit I just heard your story so I'm not your fucking brother.

Nyx: Then choose your words, Wisley lover boy.

Path: Jade, stand up and fight. I believe in you.

Nyx: What the fuck is that (she bust into laughter) oh come on too cheesy, (she stopped laughing) Okay I've had enough of you Path, I will kill you, you have my fucking word,first let me help my darling jade remember.

Nyx came closer to Jade, who was still lying on the floor. nyx looked at Jade straight in the eye and smiled. She grabbed Jade by the hair. She used her two middle fingers and placed it on Jade's forehead and said a spell. This spell made Jade's eyes glow red for some time, and then it stopped.

Nyx: Now Jade, do you believe me.

Jade now has all her memories back,all the memories of her life before the coming to the kingdom to revenge her fathers death. She now remembers everything clearly, she now knows what's true and whatnot, and she is now fully aware that nyx speaks of it,she was still progressing when she noticed nyx walking towards Path,she turned around and saw stefen was standing beside her, she immediately touched him,by doing this she was able to take a little magic, she immediately stood up ,but before stefen could do anything, she uses her powers to throw him aside, she rushed to nyx,she uses her powers to untie Path,but as she wanted to attack nyx,nyx uses her powers to block off Jade's spell ,sending it back to her, causing jade to fly across the hall,she fell in front of some people but surprisingly they helped her up and by them touching her, she got some strength, she walked to nyx but she wasn't able to do anything because Path held her hand and they both disappeared.

Nyx: Oh well, your queen has left you (she didn't seem upset) stefen (she called).

Stefen came running to her.

Nyx: My love (she kissed him on the lips) Oh how I've missed you.

Stefen smiled.

Nyx: Everyone party is over, I hope you didn't eat much cause tomorrow is my coronation day,when I will be crown your queen, now get lost. (she spoke rudely but nice at the same time)

Everyone immediately left, fearing for their lives.

Nyx: Stefen dear,I need you to find Jade and Path so I can kill them, or maybe you could kill them, I don't really care I just want them dead by tomorrow.

Stefen: Why?

Nyx: Because love if they find me first they won't send me to the after life alive I would be dead this time.

Marie: But why am i following you and not Jade?

Nyx: Because I was the one who casted the spell on you, not jade.

Marie: I don't understand.

Nyx: I'll explain dummy, you know that flame Jade that killed your girlfriend and husband, you know the jade that everyone hates.

Marie: Yes.

Nyx: Well, that part is me, and I know you are wondering how, well I'll tell you,you see I have this special power that even my mother doesn't know, I can penetrate souls,I figured it out myself (she smiled feeling proud).

Marie: Does that mean you can control a soul without anyone knowing?

Nyx: Yes,now run along, find them, Marie, you can go,stefen stay with me.

Marie: Yes (she left).

Nyx looked at stefen as he just stood there.

Nyx: Why, are you feeling bad for betrayal jade your "fiance".

Stefen: Yes because the only reason why I agreed to help you,was because you told me that Jade was evil but now you're telling me that you were the one controlling her every bad moves and you still want me to help you?

Nyx:Oh please she's evil and you know it,and you seem to forget that we are practically the same person,I came from her,Nothing change It's just I don't control her anymore, so whenever she's evil she's just evil by her own self ,oh and didn't she tried killing before, no she did kill,so that makes you dumb for even saying that.

Stefen: Yes, but she did stop.

Nyx: Okay Here's the thing, So Right now I'm going to threaten you to follow me, I know your brother and wife are in Winterfell so do as I say or I'll kill them, Capiche.

Stefen: You stay the fuck away from them.

Nyx: Okay, I love that Spirit. Keep it going, but remember, follow my command, or they die,you have my word,they will be safe.

Stefen didn't say anything but followed her.

AT THE CASTLE

Just outside the gates there was path and Jade,earlier path said a little spell that transported them to the castle.

Jade: Why did you do that,I was going to take her on here but now you're going to make it more longer now,thanks for nothing.

Path: Yeah I know you are going to take her on,But you a weak, you just got your memory , you are not In the right mind to fight now, So I decided to save your life and bring it to the castle.

Jade: Okay, hero. Why are we not in the castle but outside the castle gates

Path: I'll get us inside,something must have happened.

Path saw some guards and called to one.

Guard: My Prince,what are you doing outside? Didn't you hear dark days are upon us.

Path: I heard, which is why I have to go inside,so open the gates.

Guard: I would have my Prince, but your mother sealed off the gates. As long as you are with her, you can not come inside.

Path: Okay,I'll get Arianna to help then. Jade, stay here. I'll be back (walking inside)

Jade: Sure, it's not like I have any other place to stay.

Path walked back.

Path: This is no time to be sarcastic, Jade. I am trying to help you ,so stay here while I go in and talk some sense into my mother. Then I will come out and get you okay

Jade: Okay,Path, I'll stay.

Path: Thank you (he went in).

Path walked straight to the throne room, and there was his mother seraphina with some other men and women sitting on a round table.

Path: Mother, we need to talk.

Seraphina: Sure son, I will leave everything I'm doing and come with you.

Path: Mother, I am serious here.

Seraphina: And I am dancing here.

Path: Mother?

Seraphina: Boy if you have anything to say, Say it now, Because I'm busy For fucking crying out loud,Speak your mind or leave,it's even good you are here, I was about to sent out a search party to look for you,Now speak.

Path: Why are the gates sealed off,I tried to do a transportation spell inside the castle, but I couldn't.

Seraphina: Well, that's strange. That was how everyone came here or else (she thought to herself) .Boy, tell me you didn't come with Jade?

Path: Nyx almost killed her. I had to save her and stop calling me boy.

Seraphina: You're insane. You are trying to kill us all. If you bring her here, then what's the point of trying to save anyone,so you can't fucking fall in love with the fucking enemy, Are you trying to kill yourself.

Path: Oh please, mother, I'm not going to die from kissing someone. I've tried. (he stopped himself)

Seraphina: You fucking kissed her,oh why not kiss the devil then,you have lost it,did you fuck her too,did you too.

Path: Mother!

Seraphina: You are not to leaving this castle until I say so (she claps her hands together, which makes the ground shake.

OUTSIDE

Jade, who was still waiting on Path, felt the ground shake.

Jade : I wonder what that was that.

Jade fell someone behind her and turned. It was Rose and jea.

Rose: Well, that might be an earthquake or a very powerful spell,which means your boyfriend is not coming out anytime soon.

Jade: His been held by his mother?

Rose: You catch up easily,I like that.

Jade: What are you doing here.

Rose: Oh, I came to get you.

Jade: And you really think I will come with you.

Rose: Oh, I know you won't ,so I came an with jea.

Jade: And what the fuck is she supposed to do?

Jea: This.

Jea immediately came face to face with Jade and blew a white powder to her face,which made her fall into deep sleep.

Rose: That wasn't so hard,was it.
