"Dad, I have told you before that I like drawing more than playing the piano," Xaviar spoke cautiously, "I think drawing suits me better, and besides, I've heard that second aunt Jaylene used to study drawing as a child."
Xaviar felt he needed to bring up second aunt Jaylene in this matter; for some reason, he always felt that his father had a thing... well, a fondness for Jaylene.
Sure enough, after Jeremy Thompson put on his shoes, he gave him a faint look and then nodded in agreement, "Okay!"
He agreed so readily, with a single word, without any fuss, which made Xaviar somewhat incredulous.
"Thank you, Dad. So after my taekwondo competition today, can I go to the training center and change my piano class to a drawing class?" Xaviar was so happy he couldn't close his mouth.
"Whatever you like," Jeremy Thompson said indifferently and turned to walk out the door.
