Chapter 44: I Don't Want to Go to School

Ella Lacey really didn't want the space ring anymore.

Even though, just now, she had discovered a new function of it, an automatic smoke and dust absorber.

But none of these had any appeal to her anymore.

Without Arthur Lindsey, her world was just a gloom.

She hadn't seen him for a day, so where could he be now?

After Ella Lacey helped Sally Jefferson put on the space ring, she asked, "Do you feel any difference?"

Sally Jefferson looked at Ella busily working with her own ring finger for a while, adjusting its position and slipping it off and on again, but she didn't feel anything herself.

"Ella, are you kidding me?" Sally looked at her own empty ring finger and retorted, "What could I possibly feel? Besides your touch making me ticklish, there's literally nothing."

She didn't feel anything at all? Why did she have a sensation of an out-of-body experience when she had it in her own ring finger?

Ella Lacey sagged in frustration...
