Alexander Stuart sighed, saying solemnly, "There is a way, but it's incredibly dangerous!"
"Stop stalling, just say it!" Arthur Lindsey grabbed him by the collar, demanding.
"Bl...blo..." Alexander Stuart looked tense as he stammered, "Blood...Blood exchange."
"Are you sure this can save a life?"
Arthur Lindsey felt as though he was hearing nonsense. After a moment of pondering, he inquired sharply, "The blood from the blood transfusion bank, or the blood from a living person?"
"...The latter." Alexander replied.
"..." Arthur Lindsey let go of his collar, nodding slightly in acknowledgment.
He then saw Alexander pass him a collection of medical literature, which indeed recorded instances of septicemia patients surviving through blood exchanges.
But as Alexander had mentioned, even with the rapid advancements in medicine and increasingly sophisticated medical procedures, the success rate was still very slim.
"Let me exchange blood with Ella!"
