Chapter 40: Take off your clothes!

Coral held the champagne in one hand and elegantly looked at Heloise, her beautiful eyes carrying strangeness, "Madam, it seems we don't know each other, right?"

A hush immediately rose from the group of guests.

The rich kids who had just struggled to strike up a conversation with Heloise were even more eager to disappear at once, feeling humiliated.

"It's a real slap in the face, isn't it?" Bena looked at Heloise triumphantly.

A slap in the face? Wait to see.

Heloise stuck her hands casually in her jacket pockets and rolled her eyes.

"What?"

Coral asked in mock surprise.

One of her friends beside her immediately said, "Coral, you don't know, this woman sneaked into the Golden Cloud Hotel, and even stole something at your birthday banquet to try to cheat food and drink. How ridiculous it is! "

"Yeah, she's still eating even after I exposed her, and she's not afraid of filling herself up to death."

Bena said mockingly.

"What's wrong with the management of Golden Cloud Hotel, which actually let this kind of person exploit an advantage?"

"What a bummer, all that food has probably been touched by her, which I wouldn't dare eat."

The crowd was in a flurry of words.

Heloise stood in the center of the rumored whirlpool, her face unchanged, just quietly watching Coral and her friends performing.

Coral stood and waited for the crowd to vent their dissatisfaction enough before saying with an apologetic face, "Okay, okay, today is my birthday party and I've spoiled it for everyone. Excuse me, waiter, please make all the new food again today."

"What about this liar?" Bena asked, "How do you deal with her?"

Coral listened and kindly looked at Heloise, smiled and softly said, "Miss, you would also have a hard time coming here. I'll have someone pack some food for you. Can you take it home?"

She was taking on her as a beggar and humiliating her.

Heloise hooked her lips, and the bottom of her eyes was filled with coldness.

"Coral, you can't be so kind, this kind of asshole screwed up your birthday banquet and she would also mess up others'. She is unforgivable."

"That's right, Coral, you are so kind."

"We can't let this woman go."

A chorus of voices rang out around them.

Coral stood amongst them, enjoying everyone's compliments.

In the meantime, the people in the VIP suit upstairs were raising their glasses and proposing a toast and drinking.

On either side of a long table covered with a gold tablecloth, men in suits were fawning and flattering the man in the main seat to the best of their ability.

Under the yellow light, Reginald sat expressionlessly on the main seat, his ink-colored shirt outlined his muscular lines, and under his short, severe hair, his face was young and amazingly handsome.

A guy put a smile on his face, his hands holding a glass of wine to toast him, "Mr. Wordsworth, I toast you. It is well known that in the PHOENIXFELL Empire, there's no business without Mr. Wordsworth's nodding. No one can grow his business without your support, so please do me a favor and continue to take care of me in the future. "

Reginald's fingers rested on the top rim of the glass, his fingertips rubbing along the rim in a bored manner, never meaning to lift it.

The man blushed at being ignored.

"Toasting me while hating my guts." Reginald's thin lips curved into a mocking arc, his eyes sweeping over everyone present in a morose atmosphere.

The crowd was startled, "What are you talking about, Mr. Wordsworth?"

"Last time I was almost taken out by a lady killer at the night market, whoever was the boss behind it, now it's time to explain it themselves." Reginald rambled.

Ben stood holding Reginald's coat and looked coldly at the crowd.

"What! did Mr. Wordsworth come across a killer?"

"How did that happen?"

"Who did it?"

"Mr. Wordsworth, I am always loyal to you."

The crowd all looked alarmed, trying desperately to clear themselves of suspicion.

Reginald sat there, under his stern brows, a pair of eyes gently raised. All the people beside the table dared not make a sound.

The crowd looked at each other, extremely nervously.

It was quite quiet.

Reginald slowly stood up from his chair, his attitude was lofty, "It's too boring here, I'll go out for a walk. When I come back, if he still denies it, I will personally point him out, that will not be a good ending."

After saying that, Reginald picked up the goblet on the table and casually spilled the red wine.

Deep red wine drew an arc in the air, and finally splashed down on the table, like blood splattered, making people terrified.

Then, Reginald directly threw away the cup in his hand, and turned around and left.

Someone wanted to get up and follow him, but Ben immediately came over, stopped them, and then followed Reginald to the outside.

Golden Cloud Hotel was designed as a circular shape. Standing in the winding corridor, one could see the lobby at a glance.

Reginald walked forward and, after a few steps, suddenly stopped, turned around, pressed his hands onto the handrail, and looked down with lowered eyes.

It was cooler at the Golden Cloud Hotel.

Ben walked over and draped the thin coat in his hand over Reginald's shoulders, and when he saw that he was lost in thought, Ben couldn't help but follow his line of sight down.

He saw that on the next floor of the venue entrance erected two giant light signs, on which was posted a large portrait. Ben had just investigated and discovered the girl in the picture was the Brook's daughter, Coral.

Then Ben looked at the entrance of the venue, gathered a group of well-dressed people, they were surrounding two girls, one seemed to be Coral, and the other ...

Ben's eyes nearly protruded in shock, "Isn't she the one in Hyacinth Garden?"

He looked over at Reginald, only to see no hint of surprise on Reginald's face.

What could this be?

This woman wasn't in Hyacinth Garden, was she?

Ben fixed his eyes and looked carefully over there.

Under the strong illumination of the light, Heloise stood there with her hands in her pockets, her demeanor was calm and self-contained, with a seemingly cold smile on her face, and the stagnation in her eyes was still there in Hyacinth Garden.

"She, she was not psychotic!"

Ben stuttered in shock.

This woman was not a psychopath. How did she dare to lie to Mr. Wordsworth?

Ben's voice shrilled in astonishment, and when he turned his head, he saw Reginald standing there, his face still calmed as water, and he realized in a flash, "Did you know it?"

"By the time you saw through anything, it was too late."

Reginald snorted coldly.

"..."

Ben was mortified, he really hadn't realized at all that the woman was actually pretending to be mentally ill.

Well, the woman had been dead in Reginald's eyes.

Who dared to lie to Mr. Wordsworth would end terribly.

Not receiving Reginald's order to go down and arrest her, Ben wondered if Mr. Wordsworth wasn't angry that the woman had cheated him.

Ben stood there and looked down, realized that something was wrong downstairs.

A young woman was arrogantly grabbing Heloise's hand, her voice so shrill that they could hear her clearly upstairs, "You can't flee, you must still have stolen something, and I will check!"

Heloise stood in the doorway. Her hand was clutched so tightly by Bena that it hurt a little.

"Let go."

Heloise was a little unpleased.

"Take off your clothes! I'm going to check if you have stolen something here!"

Bena exclaimed, looking at the people next to her again, "Everyone check themselves to see if you're missing anything. The party has been sneaked in by such a thief as her, who probably purposes to steal something."

Heloise looked coldly at this loyal stooge of Coral.

Bena was really dutiful, Coral didn't say a word and pushed her out to bite Heloise.

"What are you wearing such a big coat for? It is convenient to steal something and hide in it. Take your clothes off." Bena said menacingly, still holding Heloise's hand firmly.
