Chapter 41: Did she escape from the slums?

"What if I don't take it off?"

Heloise asked calmly in return.

"You're not getting out of here today without taking the clothes off, you are a thief!" Bena glared at her and said, "You must take them off!"

"If I take it off and there's nothing there, are you going to get down on your knees and apologize to me?"

Heloise looked at her coldly askance and didn't break away from Bena's hand.

"I ..."

Bena was a little hesitant.

Seeing this, Coral was a bit annoyed that Bena didn't do things decisively. She must make sure to take Heloise's jacket off, and when that time came to reveal the electronic locks on her wrists, everyone would know that Heloise had come out of the slums. And then Heloise would be dead before she didn't take any action.

With this in mind, Coral reached for her ear, took off her pearl earring and quietly threw it into the crowd, then let out an "oops", "Why is my earring gone? They were given to me by my mom. Can you please help me find them?"

Her voice was petite and cute.

The crowd that had been staring at Heloise and Bena looked over at Coral and saw that one of her earrings was missing.

Hearing this, Bena became even more convinced that Heloise was the thief and aggressively said, "You must have stolen it, take it off for me!"

A few rich kids looked at Heloise's slender legs under her skirt and shouted in an unkind uproar, "Take it off! Take it off!"

Although they scorned playing with this kind of girl with no strong family background, it was okay to take the opportunity to watch what this girl's figure looked like.

"Take it off!"

"Strip! Strip! Strip!"

More and more unanimous voices rang out as the crowd chanted in unison.

Seeing that everyone was behind her, Bena was even more energized, grabbing Heloise and not letting her go, "Strip! If you stole nothing, I'll get on my knees and apologize!"

Those present were all the members of famous families, who well knew each other and couldn't do such a shameful thing as stealing.

Other than this woman who suddenly appeared, who else could the thief be?

"It's good to have your words. What about you, Ms. Brady?" Heloise raised her eyes to Coral, who was acting as a bystander again, her calm tone tickling with provocation.

At those words, everyone looked at Coral again.

Coral stood there, feeling quite uncomfortable being stared at. She forced a smile and said gently, "Young lady, everyone is just trying to get a clear picture, so please allow Bena to search for you, and if there's nothing, I will apologize to you."

"You must apologize on your knees." Heloise wouldn't let her miss the point.

Coral hesitated for a few seconds and said, "Okay, I'll apologize on my knees."

The electronic lock on Heloise's hand would startle everyone as soon as she undressed anyway, so who cared about the theft?

Thinking this way, Coral compelled Heloise to take off her clothes with 100% confident success.

"Do you hear it? And haven't you taken it off yet?"

Wishing she could humiliate the woman Darnell had brought to the party so thoroughly, Bena reached for the zipper on Heloise's jacket, the fingernails scratching hard across the skin of her neck.

Heloise's eyes sank, and as she took hold of Bena's wantonly fumbling fingers and folded them outward, she said coldly, "I'll do it myself."

"Ah..."

Bena's face paled in pain. Why was this woman's strength so strong?

She took two steps back and then tried to rush up to hit Heloise again. Heloise had already zipped down her own jacket.

Bena immediately watched with wide eyes.

Coral watched the scene expectantly, unable to hide the excitement in her eyes.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Heloise moved handsomely to pull down her zipper and removed her jacket straight without the slightest hesitation.

What she wore underneath was a cream-colored knee-length veil skirt that matched her fair skin.

Once the jacket was removed, the hemline of the skirt that had been gathered at the waist poured down like a waterfall, and the knee-length skirt immediately changed into a floor-length dress gown.

And from the chest of the skirt down there were layers of deep decorative patterns, embroidered with bright hyacinths, even branches were clear, vivid, even like the flower embedded in the body.

The skillful embroidery had been extended to the skirt. Even with a slight swing of the skirt, it just seemed the stamens bloomed, delicate to the extreme.

This scene stunned everyone under the lights.

She was so beautiful.

Heloise's figure was slender and tall, and she had a face with fresh features. She became simply a self-luminous light with this dress, so shiny that people couldn't open their eyes.

Coral was standing by the side. Comparing the long skirt on her with Heloise's, hers was instantly becoming a dime a dozen.

"..."

Everyone muted.

Bena stared at Heloise in disbelief. Where did she get such a beautiful gown?

Upstairs, Ben watched this gorgeous transformation of Heloise and couldn't help but marvel, "I didn't realize she looked so beautiful in a gown."

As the words fell, a cold gaze landed on him.

Ben turned his eyes, and saw Reginald's eyes looking at him grimly, swept over a murderous aura, his face cold as ice, "What, do you appreciate her beauty?"

"..."

Why was Reginald looking at him so hostilely?

Ben was intimidated by Reginald's eyes and felt a cold chill in his neck. He hastily lowered his head and backed away, not daring to look at Heloise downstairs again.

Downstairs at the entrance of the venue.

Heloise handed Bena the jacket she had taken off and raised an eyebrow, "I thought we were going to search, check and see whose earrings and bracelets I have here."

"..."

Bena stayed dumbfounded, forgetting to pick it up, always feeling as if the woman in front of her had suddenly changed and had become too beautiful.

"Or do you even want to take off this gown of mine?"

Heloise asked sarcastically.

"..." Bena stiffened and said stiffly, "Take it off, if you dare, take it off!"

She didn't care to see who would be humiliated.

"Good, then you'll have to help me with this dress off."

Heloise stood there smiling provocatively, "Come on, and take it off, if you can't find what you want after you take it off, I'll sue you and go to the media to cry about a group of rich second generation forcing a poor girl to take off her clothes in public."

"..."

Bena could not speak at all.

The gowns were all extremely tight, at most they could hide something under the hemline, but Heloise had folded the long dress to be semi-short before she arrived. If she could hide something, it would have all fallen out when the dress slid down just now.

Now, even if she took off the gown, there would be nothing there.

On the contrary, if she took advantage of this chance to go to the media to make a fuss, then Bena's reputation and the reputation of the rich young people here would be stigmatized.

With that in mind, Bena didn't dare to step forward.

Coral stood aside, awake after a couple of seconds of perplexity, and looked over at Heloise's wrists, only to see a white lace tied around it.

But the lace wasn't tied flat, it was bulging, obviously with something underneath.

How dared she hide it?

Coral couldn't care about anything else, since Bena wasn't useful for her, she would do it herself, and she stepped forward and went to grab Heloise's hand to untie the lace.

"What are you doing?"

Heloise pushed her away.

Coral stumbled back a few steps from the push and almost fell. Luckily, someone held her up.

Heloise stood there with a sneer, "Ms. Brady is really funny! You don't think I can hide your earrings with this lace ribbon, do you?"

The crowd also looked at Coral strangely.

Coral stabilized herself, then her face returned to normal and she turned her eyes to the people present here, "Just now, I heard a news that the police are in chasing of a girl who escaped from the slums, and I think her age and appearance looks very similar to this young lady."

"What! Did she escape from the slums?"
