Chapter 90: My Master is Strong

Lu Zheng walked through the red sands of a hot desert. He was already at Dying Flame Purgatory.

"Themur should be down here" Lu Zheng muttered to himself as he looked downwards.

He released his Sea of Consciousness which extended deep into the earth, scanning everything that was there.

"Oh?" Lu Zheng was surprised. He didn't expect Themur to be in a place filled with spiders.

"Shit!" He put two and two together and figured out the situation Themur was in.

"Swoosh!"

A wave of wind blew from his sleeves and obliterated the portion of the earth below him.

With a simple glance, he noticed all the silk-like threads of web that encircled the hole below.

Lu Zheng wasn't overconfident neither was he foolish. He knew better than to underestimate the webs.

He unsheathed Mei Luan and casually swung it at the hole.

"Swish!"

A flame projection shot from Mei Luan, clearing the hole of webs at once.

Lu Zheng rapidly descended into the hole.

As he entered the underground cave, a spider the same size as a car appeared before him. It was the same spider that had captured Themur and the rest.

"My webs! Who did this!? You, did you do thi…?" Before he could complete his sentence, Lu Zheng punched it, sending it flying into the cave.

Lu Zheng was enraged. He could sense Themur's aura from within the spider.

He rapidly flew into the cave after the Red-Striped Divine Spider.

As he flew in, the hundreds of spiders that were in the cave sensed his killing intent and quickly distanced themselves from him.

"Tch! You dirty beasts die today!"

Lu Zheng's soul power spiralled out as the souls of many spiders corroded into nothingness.

Even the six-legged Red-Striped Divine Spider coughed blue blood. It was lucky it was a distance from Lu Zheng.

"This human. What sort of a monster is he?" The six-legged spider was scared.

It had been barely ten seconds since Lu Zheng had entered the cave and nearly half of the Red-Striped Divine Spiders were already dead.

Lu Zheng didn't have the time to deal with the rest as he spatial skipped to where Themur was.

"Ha shit! The web! Tammy would kill me if he got there" The six-legged spider exclaimed inwardly as he got up.

He might be scared of Lu Zheng but he feared his wife even more.

Immediately, he began to run towards the northern side of the cave.

Lu Zheng had already reached the web when he saw Themur.

He let out a sigh of relief as he used Mei Luan to cut apart the web.

"Lu… Zheng" Themur said weakly. He was nearly completely drained of human Qi.

"It will be alright. Take these and share with the rest" Lu Zheng willed out some of the few Spirit Grade pills he had from his spatial ring and gave Themur.

"Who dares to cause a ruckus in my home?!" A cold female voice resounded throughout the cave.

The rank six aura of the voice's owner was very distinct.

"Another spider huh? Mei Luan, stay here and protect these guys. I'll be back" Lu Zheng ordered as he dropped his sword.

Mei Luan appeared, holding the rank three Immortal Grade sword.

Her battle strength had risen with her new sword and she could easily kill rank five beasts like they were ants. Even against a rank six beast, she could hold her ground.

The Flowing Ash Monkey watched as Lu Zheng flew to battle the female six-legged Red-Striped Divine Spider.

She suddenly asked Themur: "That's your master?"

Themur was also watching Lu Zheng as he went with glittering eyes: "Yes, my master is… strong"

Whilst the rest were dazed by his battle strength, Lu Zheng had already flown towards the female Red-Striped Divine Spider.

Lu Zheng was very fast. Within seconds, he was already before her.

She was exactly like the former Red-Striped Divine Spider except that the red patterns on her back were larger and that her legs were all nine feet tall.

"You're only at the second tier of Void Passage realm?" Tammy was surprised. Her cold gaze shifted to the spider that was darting towards her. "Danny, you're so useless. You can't even kill a small pest like this!"

Danny's heart jumped.

"They've already met?!"

He was too far away and still couldn't see the two.

Lu Zheng gazed at her fixedly. He was gauging her battle strength and comparing it to himself.

~She's comparable to a third tier of Void Passage realm martial warrior but… her battle strength is still lower than Immortal Star's~

When Lu Zheng had fought Immortal Star, he had just undergone tribulation and wasn't familiarised with his own strength.

Now, the situation was different. Lu Zheng had already understood the change in his battle strength.

If he went all out, he could even kill an ordinary first tier of Acquisition realm martial practitioner!
