Chapter 111: Lightning Deity, Blood Deity
The atmosphere was so tense that one could cut it with a knife.
Two Eternal realm powerhouses and a paramount god watched a Void Passage realm expert walk towards a red rock.
Lu Zheng was no more controlling his body. It was moving of its own accord.
Lu Zheng held out his and as the blood god demon crystal flew out of his spatial ring, dying the ambient Qi a sanguine red.
The demon crystal was absorbed by the asteroid as Lu Zheng placed his palm on it.
A humming sound emanated from the asteroid as it began to shake visibly.
"What is going on?" Ose was surprised.
The asteroid had never shown any reaction for ten millennia but now, it was trembling and quaking.
Mounds of rocks fell from the asteroid before crashing into the ground. Lu Zheng was meant to be crushed into a bloody pulp but the rocks seemed to avoid him.
A loud voice roared from the asteroid's summit: "After ten thousand years, I see the light of day once more!"
The asteroid was blasted into nothingness as the dust that had risen cleared instantly.
Standing before Lu Zheng were two men.
The first man was completely covered in golden lightning bolts. Touches of black lined the edges of the golden lightning bolts giving him an imperial appearance. His eyes were a brilliant gold as they darted all over the place as if he saw something amusing.
"Golden void lightning" Ose muttered as he recalled his last tribulation. A trace of fear found its way to his face.
The second man clasped his arms behind him. His entire body was a sanguine red as his blood constantly dropped from his red hair. The droplets of blood would then be absorbed into his body instantly. On his face was a cold smirk as if he was contemplating on how to kill everyone present.
Lu Zheng stared at the two men as memories flashed into his mind. The memories were not of this lifetime but of Xue Ritian's.
He remembered creating the two men using numerous precious cultivation materials. He remembered how the two men had saved his life countless of times. He remembered his last stand against Long Aotian that had sent him into the Cycle of Reincarnation and how he sealed the two men into a huge slab of rock that he sent to Earth.
He had done so because Earth had no Qi. He used the Qi powered asteroid to forcefully bring cultivation to Earth.
"Master" The two men knelt on one knee before Lu Zheng.
Meanwhile, Old man Gu Li went ballistic: "Lightning Deity! Blood Deity! How are you two still alive?"
Lightning Deity stared at Old man Gu Li: "Ah? Old geezer, shouldn't I be asking you that?"
Lu Zheng faced Old man Gu Li and recalled the man now.
He was a paramount god that controlled the affairs of the number one human force in the world, Heavenly Court.
Blood Deity had an amused look: "Old man Gu Li, you claim to be a fate path expert that acts as a servant for fate. Yet, you keep on avoiding your fate of death!"
Ose and Teni were shocked. Lightning Deity and Blood Deity spoke with great disrespect to Old man Gu Li.
They did not even respect his status as a paramount god.
"Do not be surprised" Old man Gu Li knew what they were thinking. "The two of them were refined by Spectral Lightning Demon Venerable. Their battle strength is firmly at the first tier of the Venerable realm"
Old man Gu Li's words stunned Ose and Teni to the core.
They already knew that beyond the Eternal realm were five more realms of cultivation, the Dao Formation realm, God realm, Immortal realm, Venerable realm and Infinity realm.
At any point in time, there could only be a maximum of one Infinity realm martial practitioner and the person was titled as a Reverend with might beyond reasoning.
The death of a Reverend meant the end of an era and the beginning of another.
In the history of the world, there had been five eras, the Primordial Antiquity Era, the Immemorial Antiquity Era, the Ancient Antiquity Era, the Early Primeval Era and the Remote Primeval Era.
During these eras, five Reverends had ruled the world; Reverend Primal Lotus of the Black Tortoise Race, Reverend Great Flame of the Vermillion Bird Race, Reverend Divine Prime Jade of the Black Feather Race, Reverend Supreme Almight of the Human race and Reverend Spectral Demon of the Spirit race.
These five people were the strongest the world had birthed and during their eras, they were invincible. If the greatest talents were stars then they were the sun itself.
No one could simply compare to them.
Lightning Deity and Blood Deity had first tier of Venerable realm battle strength. They were already close to the peak.
In fact, in this era, there was almost no one that could stop them.
