Chapter 115: Nuwa’s Return

Lu Zheng stood before Adara who was completely drenched with water. Her white garment hung closely to her skin and Lu Zheng could see through it because of the water.

Adara's voice was shaky: "Who are you?"

Lu Zheng was taken aback by the question.

"Who am I?" Lu Zheng asked himself when a voice said in his head.

"You are Lu Zheng of Lu Clan, Xue Ritian's incarnate"

Lu Zheng's eyes widened: "Yes! Yes, I am Lu Zheng"

Space around him cracked and turned into darkness as the fragments of his host soul gathered in his Soul Lake.

The translucent figure stood on the silver Sea of Consciousness and gazed at its body.

Cracks ran like webs on its body.

In the real world, Lu Zheng's body stirred in the formation as his eyelids parted.

His pupils were immeasurably dark like a bottomless abyss, hiding a world of thoughts.

Old man Gu Li had a tired expression: "The demon incarnate has finally awoken"

The formation lost power as Lu Zheng landed on his feet. His sword and other possessions were still intact.

He looked around and quickly understood, Old man Gu Li had saved his life.

"Why did you help me?" Lu Zheng's voice was coarse like someone who hadn't drunk water in ages.

"The Great Era is approaching. You might play a key position" Old man Gu Li smiled.

"Thank you" Lu Zheng bowed. "Can I leave now?"

"Hmm" Old man Gu Li nodded as a spatial gate opened a few metres from Lu Zheng.

"You should return to the main world"

"The main world?" Teni was surprised. A feeling of yearning grew within him as he stared at the white spatial gate.

A purple carnation flower was engraved on the spatial gate. It was the emblem of Heavenly Court, humanity's greatest force.

"Now?" Lu Zheng was stunned. He knew that he would one day return to the main world but had never expected it to be so soon.

"Yes" Old man Gu Li nodded. "I brought you out of your coma with a strong soul path formation but your soul is still riddled with injuries. Unless you bathe in the Sea of Nirvana, those injuries would never heal"

"The Sea of Nirvana!" Lu Zheng's expression changed. He had quite an impression of the place.

The Sea of Nirvana was a Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth that contained soul path dao imprints in millions.

Any soul that went into the Sea of Nirvana would face the greatest form of torture and if left for too long, the soul would be burnt by Nirvana Flames and die.

As a soul path martial practitioner, Reverend Spectral Demon had praised the Sea of Nirvana as a haven for soul path martial practitioners.

By bathing in it, soul path martial practitioners could refine their souls!

"Indeed, you must leave for the Sea of Nirvana at once. I believe you know where it is. Here are rank nine soul cores, they should be enough to aid your soul cultivation" Old man Gu Li said as five translucent orbs appeared from his spatial ring.

"Wait, I can't leave now. I still have someone to take" Lu Zheng said as he thought of Themur.

"That would be impossible" Old man Gu Li refused. "You do not have the time anymore"

Lu Zheng was confused: "What do you mean?"

Old man Gu Li smiled as he gazed at the distant mountains: "Nuwa will be returning soon"

Lu Zheng's expression changed when he heard those words.

He knew Nuwa and did not share a cordial relationship with the Spirit Snake of Heavenly Court.

If Nuwa was to return to Earth, she would be hell bent on killing Lu Zheng with Heavenly Court's aid.

Lu Zheng nodded and kept the soul stones in his spatial ring. He gazed at the purple carnation flower that was engraved on the spatial gate before him.

"Heavenly Court" Lu Zheng shook his head and walked into the spatial gate. A white light engulfed him and his body disappeared from the surface of the Earth.

When Lu Zheng was already gone, Old man Gu Li stroke his beard and sighed: "The wheels of fate have been put in motion. The Great Era is soon approaching"

He turned his wizened head to look at Teni who was engrossed in his own thoughts: "Now, let's prepare for the return of our Battle God"

Deep in the void that was beyond the reach of realms, a man floated through space unconsciously.

His skin was dark and his hair was blue. A green horn stood from the left side of his head.

If Adara was here, she would recognise the man as Derek.

Just as Derek's eyelids parted, bright lights of numerous colours pulsated behind him.

"What is this?" Derek stared at the myriad colours behind him keenly. The lights were warm and seemed to be embracing him.

Before he could even react, a searing pain tore through his head as a translucent figure was pulled out of his forehead. It was his host soul.

The host soul struggled futilely but it soon transformed into the many colours.

After a very long time, the colours changed into five; blue, red, brown, white and black. The five colours condensed into a five-coloured egg the height of an adult.

As if time was sped up, a tiny snake crawled out of the egg before rapidly growing into a snake that had the body of a human female from its waist up.

Opening her eyes, the snake woman declared: "Long Aotian, Xue Ritian, I, Nuwa, have arrived"

Saying that, she tore space and directly left for Earth.
