Chapter 116: Alaka'i

In a dark space stood two men. The first man had average height with smooth yellow skin, short black hair and blue pupils.

If Lu Zheng was here, he would recognise this man as Alaka'i.

The other man was very tall, being just above nine feet in height. He had shiny black skin which was covered with even darker patterns. Spreading from his back was a pair of wings congregated with black feathers.

"So this is the Cycle of Reincarnation" Alaka'i exclaimed in admiration.

"Yes, this indeed is the reincarnation path Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth, the Cycle of Reincarnation. Three eras ago, my main body gained the inspiration to create Reincarnation Battlefield from this place" The tall man said.

Alaka'i gazed at the man with reverence.

On Earth, he had sacrificed his life so that Olina and the others could escape from Nohea. Moments before he died, the man had crossed space and saved him, accepting Alaka'i as his disciple.

The man was an avatar of Reverend Divine Prime Jade, the only person to have cultivated reincarnation path, blood path and time path to the peak of cultivation.

The avatar's gaze scanned the surroundings before landing on a certain tree.

The tree was tall and had a grey bark. Its leaves were in different colours that none were exactly the same. Its flowers were also odd.

Each petals of the flower bore human expressions.

Some were laughing, some were crying, a number of them were sticking their tongues out at Alaka'i.

"Gordon, didn't you say that a Secluded Domain of Heaven of Earth can only contain dao imprints of its respective path?" Alaka'i asked as he stared at the tree.

Gordon had already explained many things about the main world to Alaka'i.

A Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth was a unique place, like a secret realm. Each Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth has existed since the beginning of time itself and they were all immeasurably unique.

The Secluded Domains of Heaven and Earth had unique traits that made them generally inhabitable for almost every lifeform.

This was because of the dao imprints that they contained. The dao imprints numbered in millions and were purely of the path the Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth belonged to.

Normally, Secluded Domains of Heaven and Earth couldn't contain dao imprints of other paths. Those dao imprints would be destroyed immediately.

However, the Cycle of Reincarnation was tainted by the karma path dao imprints that radiated from the tree before them.

"Yes, however, nature is beyond understanding. This tree is the Karma Divine Tree. It is the physical embodiment of the secrets of karma path. It is only lacking in dao imprints for it to become a Secluded Domain of Heaven and Earth" Gordon explained.

"Karma Divine Tree" Alaka'i gazed at the tree intently. "Huh? How come a flower has been plucked from it?"

Gordon looked at Karma Divine Tree and noticed the spot where the flower had been plucked. A gentle smile appeared on his space: "It seems my main body's inheritor has been here"

"Inheritor?" Alaka'i was puzzled.

"Hmm. When my main body still roamed the world, he created many inheritances. One of the true inheritances was a blood path inheritance that gave the inheritor the chance to revive from death if his soul ever came to the Cycle of Reincarnation" Gordon replied as he faced Alaka'i. "Now, take the Karma Divine Tree. Karma path suits you well and under my training, you will break through the realms of cultivation swiftly"

"Hmm" Alaka'i muttered before holding Karma Divine Tree. As he held it, Karma Divine Tree transformed.

The many leaves and flowers on Karma Divine Tree became ribbons of varying appearances. A golden silkworm wove through the ribbons on its own.

Gordon smiled at this: "It is like the legends say. Karma Divine Tree transforms into a form that allows its user to comprehend karma path best"

…..

The morning sky was a bright shade of blue as three suns stood majestically in the heavens, sending rays of light and heat down to all life.

In a certain segment of the world, two troops stood before each other.

One of the troops was made up of six men and over eighty peculiar beasts. One of the six men lay carefreely on the back of the largest beast.

The other troop consisted of seven people, four men and three women. The atmosphere between both troops was filled with conflict.

"Meng Tuo, you traitor!" One of the women shouted as she pointed at the man who lay on the back of a beast.

The woman had brown skin that was accentuated with beautiful curves. She wore pink clothing and her short black hair was carefully packed to a side.

"Shi Yulan, don't call our revered guest a traitor. He was only smart enough to join the winning side" A short man with a fat nose said, addressing the brown skinned woman.

"What do you mean smart!? Was it not I and my brothers that discovered traces of the Yama King's inheritance? If we did not turn to you, Meng Tuo, for help, would you ever know of it till the day you die!?" Shi Yulan exclaimed as her sumptuous body swayed in anger.

Her eyes burned with rage as she stared at Meng Tuo. All her goodwill towards the man had melted into pure hatred.
