Chapter 238: Refining Artifacts for Na Clan

Lu Zheng strode casually to where Na Yuxi normally trained. A few months ago, she had requested that he aided her in her cultivation and he agreed.

Na Yuxi was extremely talented and with the crimson jade Lu Zheng gave her, she had already broken through to the first tier of Domain Formation realm at the young age of twenty four. Her cultivation speed was slightly slower than Lu Zheng's at that age.

Na Yuxi sat on the floor of the training ground as she urged her Domain. The area around her became molten as crimson flames burnt around her vigorously. Her senses were heightened that she could sense every slight motion within that area.

Any technique she used in that area would be doubled in strength and would be impossible to avoid.

Na Yuxi was improving the control of her Domain and attempting to improve its range.

Lu Zheng leaned against a wall and watched Na Yuxi keenly. He knew it was rude to disturb a person during cultivation and that he could disturb a person on the verge of comprehending a profound meaning.

Faint wisps of bloodline power diffused from Lu Zheng's blood vessels and surrounded Na Yuxi. Her fire Qi surged and the flames around her thickened. The molten ground around her began to churn and boil.

Na Yuxi's eyebrows knotted firmly. She was a cultivation maniac like her father and was able to grasp the surge in her strength.

It was only when the sun rose that Na Yuxi opened her eyes.

"Brother Lu!" Na Yuxi was surprised to see Lu Zheng watching her. "How long have you been there?"

"Not for long, only a few hours" Lu Zheng replied casually.

Na Yuxi's neck turned red when she thought of the scene where Lu Zheng was watching her. For some reason known best to her, the thought of it felt made her warm all over.

She pinched Lu Zheng in the elbow and dragged her tone like a spoilt kid: "Brother Lu, don't you know that it is wrong to watch a person that is cultivating?"

"Ah? There is something like that?" Lu Zheng blinked his eyes in surprise before flicking Na Yuxi's forehead. "Why can't a teacher watch his student learn?"

Na Yuxi held her forehead: "Ouch! Brother Lu, it hurts"

Lu Zheng turned away and faced the sky: "I have spoilt you too much"

…..

White Earth Mountain, Qin Village

In a large house made out of bamboo stalks, a man stood by the window with his hands clasped behind him. A white butterfly with deep blue polka dots on its wings flew lazily before perching on the window.

"Oh? Isn't this Na Clan's rank two Simple Grade information path artifact, White Paper Butterfly?" The man muttered in surprise as he picked the white paper butterfly up.

The butterfly did not resist as his soul consciousness spread into it. The polka dots on the butterfly's wings disappeared and the man had an understanding expression. His lips curled upwards as he called a name.

"Yu Lei!"

Almost immediately the man called out, a man with blond hair came rushing in.

"Yes, Clan Head!"

Qin Clan Head turned to face the man whose name was Qin Yu Lei: "Yu Lei, assemble the elders. Inform Qin Jie to prepare his White Horned Wolves, Na Clan has become bold"

Qin Yu Lei was startled by Qin Clan Head's words. He knew Qin Clan Head and Qin Jie did not get along but soon, he regained his composure. He took a deep bow and left to immediately carry out his order.

Qin Clan Head held the butterfly directly before his face and instilled a sentence into it: "Do you dare?"

…..

Lu Zheng stood in the inner room of the hall, large cauldrons spread out before him. Na Li Bo and Na Li Yang stood behind Lu Zheng and watched the man closely.

Vermillion True Flame lit beneath the cauldrons as refinement materials flowed out of his spatial rings. The refinement materials he was given by Blacksteel Association were all high rank and were sufficient to refine many Immortal Grade artifacts

Lu Zheng was only planning to refine Profound Grade and Spirit Grade artifacts for Na Clan.

The refinement materials all flew into the cauldrons under Lu Zheng's control. Soon, they were molten fluids inside the cauldrons.

Lu Zheng already had different metal casts inside the cauldrons for different types of weapons. Casts for swords, battle axes, spears, hammers and the likes were inside the cauldrons already.

Na Li Yang and Na Li Bo watched in amazement. They knew that normal artificers took their time to patiently refine even a single Simple Grade artifact but Lu Zheng was different. He refined different artifacts at once.

The molten fluids in the cauldrons cooled as Lu Zheng added more refinement materials. When the molten fluids became black like soot and the weapons were formed, Lu Zheng brought out the casts and burnt the impurities left into nothingness.

"The next batch" Lu Zheng huffed slightly as the casts floated around him. It was like he was one person doing the task of ten at once.

He controlled the contents of the cauldron to burn again and at the same time, he personally inscribed the spirit veins in the weapons. He divided his soul consciousness into many portions. His soul foundation was great enough to support his focusing in many tasks.

Lu Zheng held a hammer in his hands and closed his eyes. A thin needle like stream of Essence flowed from his fingertip into the hammer. In his mind, a blank sheet of paper formed.

Lu Zheng began to inscribe the Primordial Spirit Veins inside the hammer.
