Chapter Thirty One: Escape From The Labyrinth

Coughing wildly, she pulled herself up from the floor, her nails scraping against the cold and rocky floor. She struggled to pull her bruised and exhausted body up. Her feet were already cold and stiff, her body turning into the metallic grey colour of death. It had already begun to end her life but she did not care. She ignored the pain she felt no matter how sharp they were.

The pangs of hunger in her stomach were ignored. Nothing could be compared to Velma's desperation to get back to her family. She did not want powers anymore. She did not want to discover anything about herself. She did not care about wolfing out. All she cared about was returning to her family whole and hearty.

All she needed now was to leave the labyrinth of death— alive.
