Chapter Fifty: A Friendly Conversation

It was dark.

Velma tried to sit up but she stumbled. Her feet were bound tightly together by a strong cord and so were her hands. The rope bit tightly into her skin as she tried to free herself.

A blindfold was placed around her eyes so she could not see where she was, a bitter and somewhat numbing sensation disturbed ber mouth— like something had been kept there. Fear gripped her heart like vices. Had the vampire soldiers been able to catch up with her? How was it possible?

She had been in a blue orb and abe had disappeared... but where to? Velma asked trying to recollect the events that had happened to her. She rolled a bit and hit something— it felt cold, yet alive.

"An-mph-fhg" Velma tried to speak but discovered the numbing sensation in her mouth was due to the gag.

"You are awake," it was the voice of the vampire prince. "I shall untie you but if you want to live, do not make a sound." He warned.
