Chapter Eighty Three: Conflicting Thoughts

Artemis stood on the mountain of Klingon; it was the highest point in Aysun and one could see the entirety of Aysun from that point. He was in deep thoughts as he stood there watching the city. Aysun was about to cease to exist the way it had always been. It was the prophecy and although he had tried very hard to prevent it from happening it was going to happen anyways. The signs were everywhere; it had started with the rogues and then the floods came but the rumours were the height of it. To think that his own people did not regard him as their ruler was both saddening and frightening.

He clutched his chest in pain, the spasms had been occurring more frequently now and Daffodil was obstinate about giving him the drug. His mate was out there somewhere, his mate that was the blue wolf. He wondered if perhaps he should have killed her when she had appeared but he had been too shocked to do so.

The appearance of the blue wolf is the beginning of chaos.
