Chapter One Hundred & Seven: A Job

Lady Matilda did not see Trent days after that and she fixated her mind on having lord child. The problem was that he had become worse after the ball, he had taken up drinking and gambling and lady Matilda was beginning to get concerned for her wealth. If lord Cyrus wasted all the money he had recently acquired they would be back to square one, no one would respect her anymore if she could no longer keep up with trends. "That is because you only see noble women," said Peri.

"So women are allowed to do business?"

"Yes," both Ella and Peri affirmed.

"What kind of business shall I do then?" asked Lady Matilda.
