Rosie awaited the members of Soaring Lions with a huge hearty smile. They managed to erase Pelican Stone's best but worst guild.
"Hey there Rosie..." Simon said relieved that they had won.
"Hello everyone! I'm so happy you guys did it! Now I can fin-" Before Rosie could finish there was a knocking at the door. Simon went over and opened to see who it was.
"You..." Kaitlyn said in a bit of an angered tone as she saw who it was.
"Hey there Rocky!" It was the woman who was with Raven Sword. Their beastmaster, or so to say.
Rocky seemed happy to see her, but he wasn't the only one. Rosie also seemed to be both relieved and happy.
"Sis!" The woman yelled out as she saw Rosie she rushed over to hug her.
"Sis?" Kristina was a bit confused but on closer inspection she could see the resembelance. "So you two are sisters?"
"Yeah, duh" The beastmaster said.
"That was one of the many reasons I wanted the Raven Sword to disband! They kind of had my lil sis' Ruby in a bind...If she left, who knows maybe they would have treated their pets even much much worse than they did..." Rosie said Kristina still gave Ruby skeptical looks as she didn't trust her too much but then again Rocky and her seemed to get along...
"So how come you rushed over here? I mean seemingly you didn't know Rosie was here so..." Simon asked, still a bit confused by their sudden visitor.
"Well uh, you guys seemed to be kind...and a good guild- and technically im out of a job so...I was thinking maybe you could... take me in as your guilds beastmaster...?" Ruby said seemingly afraid of rejection, she would understand. After all she was with Raven Sword...
Simon walked over to Ruby, Kaitlyn seemingly annoyed behind him as she appeared to know what was going to happen. Simon extended his hand with a smile.
"We'd be happy to have ya'!"
Ruby with a burst of joy grabbed a hold of his hand and shook it wildy.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" Her sudden outburst of happiness seemed childish but relaxing. After realising she pulled her hand away as her cheeks got a bit red.
"Sorry- im just kind of excited..." She scratched her head.
"Hahaha! No worries... Now Soaring Lions! We must celebrate... not only the fact that we won this guildwar earning our rank up...but also the fact that we have a new member! Ruby! The beastmaster!"
They cheered as Simon yelled this out. Tonight they must celebrate their victory. Rosie went over to the guild's kitchen-
"Oh- I don't think we have anything stocked up-" Simon said
"Don't worry, Simon. I came prepared...you guys just sit back whilst I make some celebratory feast... You guys deserve it after all. " Rosie said with a relaxing smile on her face. Simon smiled back at her as he went back to the others who were located at the largest room in the building, the main hall...which was still quite small.
"Now that we have four members...this place is starting to seem a lot smaller." Owen said
"There's only four of us plus Rocky. The sleeping quarters can hold up to six people... But you are right...this main hall is a bit small... Oi! Olaf, how much does upgrading a guildhouse cost?"
"It, of course. Depends on the building. As this isn't that high quality its upgrades are rather cheap... I'd say around 100 Galore for a medium expansion. Also, I'd like to add...that with the acquirance of a beastmaster class adventurer... I'd suggest building a stable, or barn. For more potential guild pets. The price ranges go from small-150 Galore, Medium-300 Galore Large-450 Galore. Further upgrades are possible..."
"That's a lotta money we don't have." said Owen a bit disappointed.
"How much do we have anyway?" Simon asked.
"...I don't know, aren't you the one with our money?" Kristina
"...What? Don't tell me we lost the little we had!" Simon
"No. We infact didn't lose it, it was spent. We had to eat. I was the one in charge of money. And I think it should remain so..." Owen
Simon sighs "You're right. We must have spent it. I guess that means we start from the bottom..."
"We still have enough room for two members, I don't think we'll have to worry about the expantion for a little while...but we really should start saving up." Owen said Ruby seemed to be in deep thought.
"Well- now that we're ranking up to 'F' rank guild...We can take up C+ requests... Those don't pay too much but its the best kind we can do." Ruby said
"Right, we should keep that in mind...though we've been suffering with even low ranked requests..." Owen
"Ehe...that was just a string of bad luck...I hope..." Simon said.
"If I may Leader, now that you are ranking up to F rank guild, you will also be able to do resource requests for other towns. Whilst they don't count towards your rank ups, they could very well be a 'quick' way to gain a bit of galore. Of course, they don't pay too well, but depending on the resource they could."
"...Running a guild is starting to get a bit confusing..." Simon said
"It is a difficult task but, im sure you guys will get through this..." Rosie came out holding a pot and some bowls.
Everyone noticed the smell coming from the pot, it seemed like it was just some stew. Yet the smell was incredible, their mouths began drooling a bit. Well everyone's expect Rocky's.
"Right. We shouldn't forget, whilst we do have financial issues. Tonight's a night to celebrate!" Owen said.
"That's right! Let's do so!" Simon said as he grabbed himself a bowl of stew. The taste was delicious. It was better than they imagined.
"Enjoy as much as you want. There's quite a lot." Rosie said.
"You're an angel sis!" Ruby said as she began eating at high speed, even her the way she was eating seemed a bit childish as she got a bit of a mess over her mouth which she wiped of with her arm.
Simon laughed to himself as he looked around everyone, this is truly what he wanted when he set out to make an adventure guild. He was content with his guildmates... The money issue was still lingering in his thoughts but for now... He'd rather focus on celebrating their well-earned victory!
The guild was up for a while, but after everyone was full, Rosie decided to head home. Which ultimately lead to everyone deciding to head to bed. Tomorrow, their money grind begins...
