Chapter - 26 - Justice

"She deserves for me to beat her! Look at me, it's all because of this bastard!" Gu Xiulan was still a little afraid of Yi Feng's authority. Although she yelled loudly, she put down the broom in her hand.

"Captain, I didn't splash my mother-in-law with water. She walked unsteadily and fell to the ground, knocking over the water basin. woooooo..." Tang Li shrinked her neck.

She held Yi Feng's arm tightly, trembling and sobbing in fear. 

Yi Feng, and other villagers who were watching the drama immediately believed Tang Li's words without the slightest doubt. They all agreed that it was Gu Xiulan who deliberately found fault with her. 

They are all from the same village. Everyone knows that Tang Li is often beaten and scolded by Gu Xiulan, and she never dares to resist. She is stupid and pitiful.

How could a person like her go splash Gu Xiulan with dirty water!

"You bastard! What are you talking about! I dare you to say it again! See if I don't beat you to death!" Gu Xiulan was furious when she heard Tang Li denying that she was the one who spilled the filthy water on her.

She actually dared to put the blame on herself.

The small eyes are about to pop out! 

Tang Li didn't say anything, but hid behind Yi Feng, crying with her head down, looking extremely pitiful. 

Seeing this, the villagers immediately stood by Tang Li's side and said accusingly:

"Gu Xiulan, why are you so shameless? If you fall down and pour dirty water on yourself, you can vent your anger on your daughter-in-law?!" 

"Why don't you hurry up and apologize to your daughter-in-law! You are not allowed to beat her again!" 

"This old lady is telling the truth! Are you blind! Don't you see that I was splashed with water by her? Why do you still believe that bastard's words?!" Gu Xiulan's eyes were red. She exploded in anger and roared angrily at everyone present.

Gu Xiulan never felt so useless and aggrieved after being wrongly accused by everyone. No one believed what she said. She was about to vomit blood and wanted to tear Tang Li apart. 

Tang Li raised her head slightly. She looked at Gu Xiulan with her messy hair getting mad at everyone and the corners of her mouth hooked happily. 

The reason why the original owner was so pissed off before she died was also because no matter how much she explained to Gu Xiulan that she did not steal the eggs, she did not believe her and, insisted that the original owner stole the eggs while beating her badly.

She also let Gu Xiulan experience the same type of treatment of saying the truth but no one believing her!

This was the revenge she took for the original owner!

Next she will spread the reputation of her husband being filial and dedicated to her while she would abuse him as soon as he came back. She will get justice for her husband as well.

Yi Minghuan is her savior and the husband she recognizes. Since he treats her so well how can she continue to let him be wronged.

She wants everyone in the village to know about his kindness and contribution to his family over the years.

"Woooo... Captain, you don't know, my man Minghuan came back today. He knew I had a high fever so he carried me to see the doctor. When my mother-in-law found out, she became angry and beat and scolded us both. Prodigal, get out..."

Tang Li was sobbing, with a crying voice, but she made the accusation against Gu Xiulan very clear:

"I don't understand why my mother-in-law hates my man so much. She won't let him go home for so many years, and beats and scolds him as soon as he comes back! My man sends 40 yuan to my family every month.

He didn't keep a penny to himself.  The new house at home was built with my man's money, but when he came back, he was still forced to live with me in the shabby old house! 

I am a daughter-in-law and an outsider, so it's fine if she beats and scolds me, but she also beats and scolds her own son, woo woo woo... Everyone come and judge, does anyone do such a thing...".....
