Chapter - 60 - Sigh of Relief

Tang Li had finally gathered the courage to open up to Yi Minghuan about her past, hoping to dispel any misunderstandings between them. In the dimly lit room, their conversation unfolded.

Tang Li's voice trembled slightly as she began, "After I got married, my in-law's family beat and scolded me. I also heard that you were often beaten by her before. I was quite confused and full of fear for the future."

Yi Minghuan nodded, his expression sympathetic, "I understand. Those were difficult times for both of us."

Tang Li continued, her eyes downcast, "In addition, Xiao Ru told me about the freedom of love every day, so I became more thoughtful about it . I couldn't help but envy the city people, so I liked to listen to them and get closer to those educated youths."

Yi Minghuan listened attentively, his gaze never leaving her face. "Go on."

"Then," Tang Li sighed, "Xiao Ru said that I had a crush on a male educated youth among them, and she nagged about that male educated youth in my ear every day, urging me to show affection to him."

"Of course, I didn't like him, and I didn't do anything to show my favor."

A hint of amusement flickered in Yi Minghuan's eyes.

Tang Li continued, "However, Xiao Ru was convinced that I had feelings for that person, and I didn't want to destroy our friendship. So I said twice that I didn't and stopped mentioning it."

Tang Li looked up and met his gaze, her eyes sincere. "Now that you're back, I know that you treat me well, and I also want to have a good life with you. I just want to tell you this, lest you hear about it from them in the future, and then misunderstand me and have dirty thoughts and distrust me."

Yi Minghuan smiled reassuringly, "Well, I see. It's understandable that you had a good impression of that person before, but from today onwards, you just put your mind to it and live with me. Thank you for telling me this. I appreciate your honesty."

Tang Li blinked in surprise and felt that she was worrying for nothing before, "You're quite generous."

"I haven't seen you before, and our marriage is not established. I have no right to condemn you," Yi Minghuan explained.

Tang Li nodded in agreement, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders and breathed a sigh of relief.

"You're right."

As their conversation shifted away from the past, the issue of the belt was forgotten by both of them.

Tang Li yawned, exhaustion creeping in. She had solved a major matter between them and there were no misunderstandings or secrets between them, of course except the matter about the space.

"Don't worry, I don't like that person at all, and I just want to have a good life with you in the future, so I won't give you a cuckold. Hurry up, let's sleep."

Yi Minghuan chuckled and turned around, making space for her on the bed. Tang Li closed her eyes but found it hard to fall asleep.

She decided to check her inventory in the space. Her mind raced with thoughts about her newfound life points.

With amazement, she discovered she had accumulated three health points. These life points were a result of her efforts in treating Uncle Wang, and she realized that healing and saving lives could also earn her these valuable points.

Tang Li's excitement was palpable as she contemplated how to spend her newfound wealth. She was determined not to waste a single point and planned to use them wisely for essential items.

Toilet paper, sanitary napkins, underwear, bras, and other necessities began to cross her mind one after another.

'The current toilet paper paper is so hard, I really want to change it to a soft one.'

She loathed the inconvenient menstrual belt though she hasn't had one yet. After using clean and easy-to-use sanitary napkins asking her to use menstrual belt just gave her the heebie jeebies.

She also yearned for comfortable undergarments. The fat panties and bralette vest worn right now is the same as if they were not worn at all!

Tang Li very awkward, so she must hurry up and make one.

In addition to these, there was also a lack of food which was a critical need right now.

Meat was scarce in this era due to meat tickets being rationed, and she wanted to change for something delicious.

In this era, even if you have money and want to eat meat, you may not be able to buy it, because meat tickets are very tight.

Her thoughts turned to nutrition and weight loss, and she decided that acupuncture needles were a necessity, both for her health and potentially for helping others.

Therefore, she still needs a pair of acupuncture needles, which is very necessary!

As she contemplated her options, Tang Li realized that three life points were not nearly enough to fulfill all her desires. She sighed, knowing that prioritization would be essential.

The night grew quieter as Tang Li's mind buzzed with plans for the future. She would have to make choices, manage her resources carefully, and continue to adapt to this new life in a world far different from her own...
