With the vice principal's final words, the ceremony began in earnest. The first person called up to the podium was a girl named Lily. She stepped forward, her nerves palpable, but her determination stronger. She approached the large white crystal and, with a steady hand, touched it.
The crystal pulsed with energy, lighting up twice in quick succession. The first light was silver, a clear indication of a basic job class. The second light was also silver, confirming the same. The students murmured in quiet anticipation as the large white screen behind the crystal flickered to life, revealing Lily's job classes.
The first class was Ice Mage, a basic combat class. It was graded C rank, with a potential limit of A rank. The second class was a Healer, a support class. It was graded B rank, with a potential limit of S rank.
The vice principal's voice rang out once more, addressing the gathered students. "Please note, class grade rank does not mean that the user will start at the graded rank. Everyone will start from an F rank. The class grade rank simply indicates the user's potential and the limits of their ability. For example, Lily here is still an F rank, but her Ice Mage class has a C class potential, which can grow to an A rank as she levels up. The same applies to the rest of you."
Lily's face lit up with joy. While her classes were not the rarest, she had avoided the dreaded non-combat or support class. She felt a sense of relief that her abilities, though modest, had the potential for growth.
The next 50 students took their turns, and the room filled with a mixture of reactions. Some were disappointed, others elated. A few awakened hidden or rare classes, while others received basic or non-combat roles.
Among them, about 30 students awakened classes ranging from bronze to gold. Their job classes varied—some received basic support or combat roles, while others got rare classes with incredible potential. However, a few students shone brighter than the rest.
A boy named Joshua Blake was called to the podium. As he touched the crystal, it lit up in a brilliant diamond color. The screen behind the crystal revealed his class: Golden Paladin, with an SS potential limit. His awakening was met with awe, and a few whispers of envy rippled through the crowd. Joshua had awakened a class that would place him among the elite.
Then came Alexa Wright, a girl with striking features, who confidently approached the podium. When her hand met the crystal, it flashed platinum, the rarest color of all. The screen revealed her class: Divine Dragon Summoner, with an SSS potential limit. The room erupted in awe at the sheer power of her class. A divine Summoner of dragons—her potential was almost beyond comprehension.
Lucian watched it all unfold, the range of emotions on display, but his heart remained heavy with uncertainty. Would his own awakening be as spectacular, or would he remain in the shadows, like so many before him he muttered to himself
The vice principal called out, "Lucian Cross, come on stage."
Lucian gulped as the whispers of mocking and ridicule from his classmates and juniors filled the air. He could hear their gossip:
"Why is he even here?"
"Bet he'll awaken nothing."
"He's just wasting our time."
Tightening his fist, Lucian forced himself forward, his footsteps heavy with anxiety. Reaching the podium, he glanced at the imposing white crystal, its surface shimmering with an otherworldly glow.
"Place your hand on the crystal," the vice principal instructed.
Lucian hesitated briefly before resting his hand against the cool surface of the crystal. The room fell silent, anticipation hanging thick in the air.
Suddenly, the crystal erupted in a dazzling platinum light so bright it was blinding. Gasps echoed through the hall as a celestial-class phenomenon unfolded. The sound of heavenly trumpets filled the room, shaking the very ground beneath them. The heavens themselves seemed to part, and a radiant Roman cross-like gate opened in the sky above.
From the portal descended two armies of celestial beings, one side composed of graceful angels, the other of fallen angels.
The fallen angels were an intimidating sight. Dark knights clad in menacing obsidian armor, their weapons emanating a blood-red glow, led the ranks. Behind them stood
Unholy Knights, their presence chilling and sinister.
Punishment Knights, their auras reeking of justice warped into retribution.
Blood Knights, with crimson armor dripping as if fresh from battle.
Despair Knights, cloaked in shadows that seemed to whisper of suffering.
The highest among them was a Fallen Archangel General, towering with six jet-black wings, his gaze piercing and filled with dark majesty.
On the opposing side stood the graceful angels, a stark contrast of ethereal light and holy radiance. Their ranks included:
Light Knights, with armor shimmering like the sun.
Holy Knights, emanating pure, soothing auras.
Saint Knights, who seemed untouchable in their sanctity.
Divine Knights, exuding a sense of authority and celestial power.
Knights of Hope, who inspired awe and courage with their very presence.
The highest among them was a Graceful Archangel General, clad in brilliant gold with six resplendent wings, her expression both commanding and serene.
The two armies stopped before Lucian. Moving in perfect unison, they removed their swords and placed them ceremoniously against their left chests.
With voices that seemed to echo through eternity, they declared, "We greet the King of Knights and Paladins!"
As one, the celestial armies knelt before Lucian, bowing their heads in reverence. The sheer magnitude of this moment sent shockwaves through everyone present. Before anyone could process what had happened, the armies faded away like mist, leaving the hall in stunned silence.
Just as the awe began to subside, another celestial-class phenomenon unfolded. The ground beneath them cracked, and otherworldly portals opened. From the heavens and the earth emerged mythical creatures of legend, each exuding a biblical sense of destruction and power.
Among them were:
Hydra dragon with 5 heads
Giant Titan mammoth
Great Behemoth
Majestic Griffins with golden feathers.
Towering Leviathans, their serpentine forms seemingly endless.
Fierce Cerberus beasts, their triple heads snarling with primal fury.
The monstrous wolf of Ragnarok Fenrir
Radiant Phoenixes, their flames casting warmth and devastation alike.
These creatures roared and growled, their sounds resonating deep within the hearts of everyone. Yet, instead of aggression, they lowered themselves before Lucian in submission, bowing their mighty forms before fading like the celestial armies.
The room was plunged Into silence once more. Then the big white screen lit up, capturing everyone's attention.

As the screen displayed his unprecedented awakening, Lucian's mind was suddenly overtaken by a voice in his head:
"The Divine Guide System activated. Binding to host."
5%...10%...15%...20%...50%...95%...100%
"The system has successfully bonded to the host. Congratulations on awakening two celestial job classes."
Golden text appeared before Lucian's eyes, visible only to him. Confusion and shock overtook him as he stared at the screen, but his trance was broken by the murmurs around him.
The hall was abuzz with disbelief and envy.
"Lucian? Lucian Cross?! That trash?!"
"How did he awaken two celestial classes?"
"And one has infinity potential? That's impossible!"
"No one has ever seen classes like these before!"
Alexa Wright, a top-tier student and the girl who had awakened a platinum class earlier, felt her stomach twist with jealousy and curiosity. She had barely noticed Lucian before, but now she couldn't stop staring at him.
"Who is he? How could someone like him awaken celestial classes? Is the universe playing some kind of sick joke?"
Joshua, the boy who had awakened as a Holy Paladin, felt an overwhelming sense of reverence toward Lucian. It was as though Lucian was a divine figure he was meant to follow.
"Why do I feel like I need to kneel before him? Is this the effect of his class?"
The principal, snapping out of his daze, quickly called for silence. His voice shook slightly, betraying his disbelief. "Lucian Cross, congratulations on your awakening. You may return to your seat… or if you wish, you can head home for the day. Please be sure to meet me in my office tomorrow."
Lucian nodded numbly, still processing everything that had happened. As he walked back to his seat, he noticed the way the entire hall stared at him. Their gazes were a mixture of fear, envy, and awe.
He sat down, his heart pounding. The day that had started like any other had just changed his life forever.
Joshua whispered to himself, "I need to talk to him… but not today. Today feels too overwhelming."
Lucian, still dazed, decided to head home. The whispers and stares followed him, but he barely noticed. His mind was consumed by the words of the Divine Guide System and the weight of his awakening.
