Chapter 19

I got to my bedroom and and locked my door. I went to my bed and laid on it. I closed my eyes and before i knew i fell asleep. I dreamt of strange and creepy men. They kept staring at me from the bushes. I ran away until i reached an old house. A big house, much bigger than this place. I went inside the house and saw a large hall and a huge dining room table with chairs that were set up perfectly for five people. I went further inside but when i came near the center of the hall i saw a man in a black long coat with hooded cap on his head. His face covered by a mask. He wore black gloves and boots, the kind of boots that can only fit a skeleton's feet. He walked up to me and slowly removed the cloak from his shoulders revealing a skeleton with a skull and bones. His bones and teeth glistened from under the candle light. He approached me and I tried running away but i couldnt move my legs. My body stayed rooted to where i stand. I could feel my heart beating rapidly and i could see him walking closer to me. The smell of blood was almost unbearable. I started to sweat profusely. Just as i thought i would scream and die his hand shot out and grabbed my throat tightly. He pulled me off my feet and dragged me into the dining room. I started to struggle to get free from his tight grip but it wasn't working. Suddenly, as quick as lightning he threw me across the room and I landed hard against the wal. I crawled my way up the wall till I reached the door. He got he again and was about to throw me again but someone shook me awake. I woke up screaming and looking fast around and i saw it was Kevin. He pulled me fast into a hug before the king and guards came rushing in ready to fight. Kevin told them that i had a very bad nightmare. They all understood but the guards and Kevin stayed with me. The guards escorted the king back to his room before standing outside of my room. Im gratefull for them. Kevin was rubbing my back to calm me down and i fell asleep in his arms feling safe.

Kevin POV

I didn't see Elliana the whole day so i went to look for her. My uncle said that she didn't feel well so she went to her bedroom. I thanked him and went up to check on her. I took the second key of her door from my pocket and checked on her. She looked to peacefull so i left her alone. I closed the door and locked it. I helped my uncle the whole day. We ate lunch and dinner. Before i went to sleep i checked on her once again and everything was okay. Some time in the night i heard screaming. I jumped out of my bed and ran ot the screaming. It Elliana.....I unlocked the door fast and ran in. I saw that she is having a nasty nightmare. I ran to her and shook her awake. She almost jumped up awake and i pulled her into my arms before my uncle and the guards came. I told them that she had a nightmare and that she will be fine now. My uncle told the guards to stay with her but they walked back with my uncle to his bedroom before returning to her bedroom door and they guard the door. She finally fell back asleep more relaxed. I stayed longer awake to make sure she is okay before falling asleep.
