Chapter 20

The next week everyone spent their days playing games, talking and having fun. During that week i never left Elliana side. Whenever we went anywhere other than our room she would be by my side constantly. I didn't mind it though....it was just nice to have her around. I was glad to see that she seemed happier. Its been few weeks that i have her by my side and i can't be more happier. I want to propose to her. Yes you heard me right. I want to make her the woman of my life. I dont know when yet. My uncle will step down and give me the crown. I want her to be my queen. So today im gonna put her to the test. I wanna see how she handels some situations. 'Elliana' I called for her. She came soonlyn after i caller for her. 'Yes Kevin?' She asked in her soft voice. 'Can you go to the village and check on them all? I can't i have some things to take care off here.' I told her. She nodded with her soft smile and i walked with her to the stabels and asked for a horse. Her horse was ready and i helped her got on her horse. 'Be back before the sundown.' I added and she smiled before her horse walked away with her on it's back.

Elliana POV

Kevin asked me to check on the village. Im bit nervous to be honest. I don't know what to expact.. 'Calm down it will be fine' I told myself in a spft whisper. I soonly arrived in the village and stopped by the farm and got of her horse giving her horse to the nice farmer thanking him. She walked more into the village greeting everyone and gets greeted back everyone. The kids were playing and making friends. It's nice to see this. I walked around the village and helped around as much as i can. i heard two people arguing. I walked there and i saw two man screaming at each other. I walked up to them and asked 'What is the problem gentlemans?' They both looked at me shocked. One of the mans spoke first 'Lady Elliana?' I nod my head and answer 'yes?' He looked a little guilty 'This person here accused me of stealing from the market.' He pointed at the angry man. 'How about you shake your clothes to see if you really did or not?' I asked him. He did as i told him and nothing fell out. He empty all of his pockets and he took nothing. I thanked him for doing that. The angry man started to look embarrassed at us. 'It's okay you tried to do the right thing.' I told him with a soft smile. The embarrassed man apologized to the man that was accused of stealing. The man nodded and walked away. I walked away and checked on the village. I ate lunch with some kiddos and we all had fun. It was slowly getting dark and i have decided to go back home. I went to the farmer that haves my horse abd thanked the man for taking care of my horse before i got on my horse and we went back to the castle. 

 We reached the stables and Kevin was still waiting. As i stepped out of my horse he rushed to me and hugged me tightly. 

'Are you alright?' He asked me holding me close in his arms. 'Yes, i just missed you' I answered him. 'Me too' he whispered as he placed his lips on mine for a short kiss then he let me go. He held my hand and we walked up the castle steps. We stopped infront of the dinner room before he kissed me softly and we walked inside where The king was waiting for us we greeted the kin and the king greeted us back. We sat down 'How was your day dear?' The King asked. I told them how nice my day was and about the fight too. They laughed a little at that part. After some time the dinner was served. Me and Kevin sat together but werent to far apart so i could hear him even without turning. When the dinner was over Kevin stood up saying that he needed to go somewhere. 'Where are you going?' I asked him curiously. 'Its a secret' He smirked as he winked at me and kissed my forehead quickly and he left me sitting in the dinner table. I frowned at that but shrugged it off.

Kevin's POV

As soon as i left the dining room i headed straight to my room and opened my nightstand that is next to my bed. I placed my aunt's ring in there that i got from my uncle. When she was gone we talked about my and Elliana's relationship. I told him that i want to make her my queen. He looked bit shocked but then happy. He gived me his and aunts wedding rings and his blessing. Im very happy. He also gived me my parents wedding rings too. I placed them in a diffrent spot so i wouldn't get confused. I hid the rings well before going back to my uncle and Elliana. I went to her and kissed her head. She smiled back at me and i took her hand helping her out of the chair. 'We will go to bed uncle...we both had busy day.' I spoke up. He nodded and we left the dinner room to our bedrooms. We got ready for the bed and i went to her bedroom. I have decided to sleep in her bed. I walked in and i saw her already under the blanket all snuggled up. I locked the door behind me and i went under the blanket next to her. I pulled her into my arms and kissed her forehead softly. 'Goodnight my love' She spoke up with a soft voice. 'Goodnight sweetheart.' I whispered to her softly. I felt her falling asleep in my arms.
