31- First Encounter

"Hey Peter, what brings you here?" I asked, feeling a bit confused by his unexpected visit. He stood in front of my doorstep, looking quite charming. Wait, where did that thought come from?

"May I come inside, Angel?" he asked, smirking down at me while his hands were tucked inside his jeans.

"Oh, yes, of course. I apologize for my rudeness earlier," I said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

I moved out of the way so he could come in through the door. Once he was inside, I shut the door and turned to face him. Cheska isn't here today as she went to the mall, so I don't know what she's up to. I motioned for him to sit down, and he went over to the lengthy couch and took a seat while I settled into the beanbag beside him.

I cleared my throat and met his serious gaze, which made me nervous all of a sudden. "What brings you here?" I asked eventually.

"I'm here to advise you to inform Clark about your current condition, Mia," he said, his tone serious.
