After she met with lawyer Han, Mei Xing went to the firm. She arrived just in time for a meeting with all department heads and assistants of the firm. It was a monthly report they were made to present to the CEO.

The meeting began soon after Yang Longwen arrived. Each department head gave a detailed report on the progress made for the month and their goals for the forthcoming month.

The report from the architectural department began. Mei Xing tried to maintain focus while the meeting carried on. Yet, like all others, her mind soon drifted off.
