"Really? What did you find?" Mei Xing asked, her curiosity piqued.

Xiao Lin, the ever-reliable assistant, beamed back at her. A triumphant grin stretched across his youthful face as he swivelled the laptop with crucial evidence against Mr Wang and Feng Houyi, towards Mei Xing.

A sleek black flash drive protruded from the side.

"Have a look." His enthusiasm was contagious.

Mei Xing navigated to the newly opened file. A flurry of text messages filled the screen. She carefully scanned the contents of the file on the laptop, her expression turning more serious with each passing moment.

The text messages between Mr Wang and Feng Houyi laid bare their intentions, detailing their plot to increase Feng Houyi's benefits from the company and Mr Wang's share as the catalyst for the action, even at the expense of the company's downfall.
