"So this is how you are." Mrs Lu said in shock.

Han Eu-meh turned abruptly. Her heart sank into her stomach on seeing Mrs Lu.

'How much did she hear?' Han Eu-meh thought

"Eu-meh, who were you talking to just now?" Mrs Lu asked, her voice trembling in anger.

"Aunt Lu," Han Eu-meh smiled awkwardly. "What... what are you doing here?"

"This is my house." Mrs Lu glared at her, her voice trembling with anger. "So you're behind that attack on that girl Aotian talked about, aren't you? You tried to hurt that girl who has my son's attention!"

Han Eu-meh tried to reason with her. "Aunt Lu, it's not like that. You know I love Aotian. I–"

But Mrs Lu cut her off. "No, Eu-meh! I should have known that woman wasn't what you painted her as. You're the one who's been manipulating and scheming to get someone who doesn't like you!"
